For what it’s worth I’m so happy that she finally found true love and happiness. And Emily’s legacy lives on because she is helping me more than she could have ever imagined. I was looking at my list of subscribed channels, bumped into Emily's and remembered how funny she was. I entered to see what's she's being up to and noticed her last uploaded video was back in 2019. Then I went to her instagram page to find out why she wasn't posting anymore and discovered about her passing in a car accident back in 2019. I haven't really watched her for a couple of years, but back in 2015~2016 I watched her a lot. I was in a very very stressing phase in my life getting my masters degree and I remember how Emily's videos helped me to have some good laughs and chill out a bit between intense studying sessions. Also her testimonies about dealing with anxiety are even more relating to me right now. Anyway, I just wanted to pay my respects and show my sadness for such a tragedy. I really hope that her family and loved ones are doing well right now. Emily was such a happy presence here in YT. My sincere condolences. RIP.

I grew up in the 60s - and the following was one of my guides: Desiderata- Go placidly amid the noise and haste, & remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly & clearly; listen to others, even the dull & ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud & aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain and bitter; for always there will be greater & lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially. do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love, for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should. Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. and whatever your labors & aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery & broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. -- This was found in Old Saint Paul's Church, Baltimore, Dated 1692.
