Excellent, and you chose some , "sorta bitter-sweet", music to set the proper mood. Once again you took the land-locked polar bears through another long winter and ended just as the Spring is coming-in up in the NE. 30K of us Thank You~! for the time-n-effort you put into these entertaining videos. And I heartily second rich noonan's post below. Gawd Bless.

What fun that was watching your videos. Congrats on getting home as well. I love Philly and remember my last visit fondly. I was in the engine room the whole time and of course the Detroit's performed nearly flawlessly! Scary transformer meltdown and close call with the charging issue so far from home other than that was the only trouble besides some clogged cooling system and dirty fuel filter problems. Hats off Captain for a steady hand at the tiller and crew! Love your first mate dearly now as I'm sure you do! Cheers!!

Hi Ed and Lyn - CaptRuff here. My 1st Mate and I have been enjoying your videos from the start. We have always loved the old Hats, as a matter of fact we’re in contract to buy a 1977 58’ MY. She’s up on lake St.Clair and we can’t wait for the weather to improve so we can do the sea trial and haul out. Our plan is to keep her on Pickwick Lake and travel down to Florida and Bahamas between November and May. Looking forward to running into you two one season in the Bahamas or So.Florida. Albeit we’re probably a little sleepy for you two. 😂

I know. Lyn had her finger partially over the lens so I couldn't use it. Plus, we did a talk on the flybridge, recapping the trip and our card must have been full because it ended after 30 seconds, right after I yelled "Thanks for the Jeep" as you were leaving the marina.

Great videos. Love your channel and this season was a great adventure to Key West. I probably missed it, but did you cover your decision to not go on to the Caribbean (or was that a goal for 2022?); you had talked about it on the Q&A show posted back in January. I take it that your expensive insurance policy is covering you as "live aboard" and south of the GA/FL line during hurricane season. True? If so, I'd love to know which company is underwriting under those conditions and who your broker is.

Another great video from you guys. Thanks. I am considering a spring trip in my Trawler from the Potomac, up the Chesapeake, and across the C & D. I have in-laws in Wilmington. While I was up that way, I was considering a trip up the Delaware towards Trenton. Is that a worthwhile cruise? Appreciate your thoughts since that is your home waters. Thanks

Ok OK, you said to ask question? Early in our life with the family of 4 we would travel in a RV/tag along trailer, from April to October. When staying at a RV site we would look for other RV locations in the same location or look for other RV parks and check them out. How do you come up with locations when you travel by boat? Recommendations or do you visit the other Mariana's or do you plan out your trips?
@tryingnottosink9107
@tryingnottosink9107 2 жыл бұрын
We use Waterway Guide Books and the internet. Also our navigation program shows the locations and some details about the marinas. Sometimes it is on recommendations as well.
