[36] Alcohol Ink Abstract Wispy Flower Technique

This alcohol ink abstract wispy flower came about in several phases. In this video, I share the techniques used and highlight each phase along the way. You'll see how I created the abstract wispy effect in the flower petals to the shimmery liquid pearl inks in the center.

Make sure to work in a well ventilated area and/or wear a respirator mask. I seal my artwork with a couple of coats of Kamar varnish spray followed by two coats of UV resistant spray.

Be patient with yourself. Alcohol inks have a mind of their own, but I do hope you'll give this technique a try. If you watch some of my other videos, I think you'll find other techniques you can try. Here's to your artistic success.
