A bear can hit max speed of approximately 40 mph extremely fast. How far and fast at that speed? 40 mph = 60 fps (58.9)or 20 yds/sec. They can run 100 yards in 5 seconds at full speed. Always be ready and if you hear a sound of a charge have your gun up and ready to fire.

Oh no Addicus. Someone hit and killed bear #399 on the road. The Queen of the Tetons. 🥺 No word on how her cub is doing. She was the oldest still reproducing bear at age 28. RIP ❤

No I would never venture out in Bear infested woods at night or as a matter of fact during the day. If it was one of my family members though... I would certainly go immediately fully armed!

This is what the term "loaded for bear" comes from, locals warned me that an angry grizzly will blow right through bear spray, I only saw a few black bears but I was on horseback and they were more afraid of my horse.... but I was loaded for bear..... with guns...my deer rifle, my shotgun and my 38 in a shoulder holster, if you go into grizzly territory, go armed, bear spray might work on a black bear, but a grizzly... you heard what the locals told me, believe the people that live there and go armed...

@@TimothyWiley-r2b Your definitely smarter than Warnock. I wonder if Addicus has ever posted any videos about outdoor tough guys who did all they could to be prepared but were still totally ravaged by a bear anyway?

Warnock was strolling down the beach like he was strolling across a city park in anytown USA and not in a wilderness. With the noise of the waves washing on the shore he should have been VERY aware of his surroundings, like checking over his shoulder periodically. Also he had no adequate rifle which is a dam fool thing to do in bear country.

I could never ever camp in a tent in grizzly country! Maybe I would go out deep in the grizzly country if I had a good reason to, but I would have four armed military trained men around me with fully automatic rifles each having about 100 round drumplus I would carry a pistol at least myself

In my opinion, I think people should not hunt alone. I am not a hunter, but after watching A LOT of your shows, I just think going in the wilds alone is too dangerous! I would not want to go into the woods in the dark, so when the hunters heard the gunshot (in the 2nd story I think,) I would have wanted to check on my friend/fellow hunter right away just to see their catch.

So let me see if I have my head wrapped around this. Warnock is a guy with such little reserves of common sense and situational awareness that he decides to adventure into the deep northern wilderness with nothing more than a pocket knife. When confronted by the chief aspect of natural wrath (the very thought of which would have deterred any intelligent person from going there alone in the first place) he suddenly realizes his childish folly and decides "I've had it". Taking all of this calamity, every bit of which was caused by human idiocy, into account are we supposed to feel sympathy or even empathy for this guy?

Rasmussen's hunting partner should have investigated as soon as he heard the first shot. If Rasmussen had killed a deer his friend could have helped him out, if he was injured he could have probably saved his life. Why didn't Rasmussen fire twice, alerting his friends that he needed help?

Voluntarily entering the domain of large, lethal bears wouldn't be high on my list of priorities! Carrying firearms won't help if a lack of awareness and observation leads to a bear encounter at contact distance! The human interlopers initiate contact with bears simply by entering into their domain, the bears are home, and that's what they are defending! Whilst as tragic and horrific bear attacks on people are, I can't but feel that the entire responsibility lies with the people. From the perspective of the bears, people are home invaders, and the bears treat them as such! Surely there's enough areas in the US for people to go without the potential of encountering bears...

If I had $1,000, I would choose to spend $100 on a bag to store my $900 instead of spending $1,000 on an empty bag kislux
@PemGayrard26 күн бұрын
Spending $20,000 on a tote bag is the obvious choice, rather than spending $200 on a kislux bag and investing the remaining $19,800 since a $20,000 bag is unlikely to increase in value.
