Check out this DELUXE deer hunting blind by 360 Hunting Blinds. Although not the cheapest enclosed blind available, it just might be one of the best! In my opinion, it's a very well-designed and well-built blind with windows galore to offer a panoramic view of your hunting property - with minimal blind spots. You'll need a swivel chair for this one! Check it out!!

If you're wondering what caused the scuff marks on the side of the blind... the skidsteer pallet fork frame rubbed against it while it was being transported across the field.

That'll make for some fun, relaxing hunting when the cold weather sets in. I bet one of those laser levels would work great setting one of those up. Mine has sure been worth the money.

A lazer level is one of those tools I don't have, but thought I probably should have. Good to know now that it'll be a wise purchase!

Brett, recently came across your stuff and have loved every minute and have learned a lot. Your details make your work a winner!. I would be interested to see a comparison between buy and building. I know there is a certain amount of gratification with build your on, but wonder what the hourly rate breakeven point might be. Also, I noticed you use mister buddy heaters, the net of burning unvented propane is a lot of water. Have you ever tried vented LP or other fuels? Thanks for what you do!

Thanks for checking out my videos and for the kind words! With the price of things now, if you had to buy all materials new, and even if you figured $20/hour labor for your time, It's probably not any less expensive in the end, v.s. what you would pay for a pretty decent manufactured box blind, like the 360 blind. Most all of the blinds I've put together consiseted of a lot of used and leftover materials, which helped lower the cost. I don't consider my time an expense because I really enjoy building them, so it does depend on each individual's situation. I just purchased a small woodstove that I plan to use in my hexagon blind next season, and I plan to put a video together of what I think of it. I've heard good things (and watched many videos) about woodstoves and vented heaters in the deer blinds but have never used them in my own deer blinds. I have several blinds (which is a good problem) so the Buddy Heaters were the most economical way to get some kind of a heat source in each of them, but it may be time to upgrade the heater in them, one at a time...

Great review. I have one and it's incrediable. I'm making some simaliar to it now. Love to see a video on how to make the octogon roof it has. Next one I make will be similar to your octogon blind video to avoid the 360 roof system and door. I will use the 360 sliding windows and 4 corner pockets design. Wasn't able to find any polywood to make the window slides and the vinyl lattice channel was to flimpsy. Used PVC board instead. Primed it with PVC cleaner before painting so the paint would stick.

Good to hear someone else's opinion on this blind! Yeah, its a pretty intricate roof design. Seems like a lot of pieces, angles and cuts to try and diy a roof that way. I thought about the lattice channel probably working better if it were installed in a wood frame with aroutered groove v.s. stand-alone, but I think you're onto something with the pvc board! Gives me an idea for another video... Thanks for watching and commenting!

I agree. If you were to build a blind with all new materials at this time, it adds up quickly. Especially if you were to build it with a dozen operating windows.

Tip You can pull down on sandbag to open windows rather then putting hand near window where deer have a chance of seeing you.

Thanks for the fogging info. What size blind do find to be the better build?

@woodman8261 The hexagon is my favorite. It's 7 feet across inside. Great alone or with another person. I'd go no less than 6x6 if you ever want to hunt with another person. Anything smaller is too crammed.

Probably rode in on gear or boots, or someone left a window open in the past. It's sealed up tight, so there's really no way for them to squeeze in.

Hey Brett, I'm up here in northern Wi. and would like to know how you keep your windows from fogging up with the buddy heater

@woodman8261 I was just thinking about making a new video on this! Couple tips: face the heater forward towards the front windows. Keep a couple microfiber towels to wipe them. Use a little hunters shampoo. It helps a bit on fog. I have a dewalt battery operated heat gun for comating frosted windows.
