Great video. I'm restoring a 1946 Bellanca at C56 but don't have my tailwheel endorsement yet so it's nice to see you making the necessary control inputs and gives me an idea of what's needed.

Bult isn't too far from here! I assume I'll get to see that Cruisair at Brodhead when it's done? Or maybe I'll just stop by sometime...

@@wheelsupbardown You're welcome to stop by. Most Wednesdays we're out there working on it in the afternoon. We're hoping to get some paint on starting this Wednesday. If you stop by the line guys all know about it and can direct you. We're in hanger row E on the east side.

Love your videos. Nice cross wind correction and love where you kept it in ground effect until the end of the grass. I have a 140 and they are the best but somewhat unforgiving so you really have to fly em. Great video.

Thank you so much! It'd been a while, but comments like yours make sure I'll always put out more videos. Being a 140 pilot definitely keeps you honest! Would you throw your 140 keys to a Champ pilot??? Enough said! 😉

By the way, I just checked out your first tailwheel solo video. Beautiful airplane, and nice job keeping it on the centerline!

Thanks so much, one of the best things I’ve done buying that plane. I have flown it a ton since then but can never get complacent that’s for sure.

Oh I get it. It's way to easy to let your guard down! One of the reasons I like playing in the grass is it keeps me a bit safer lol
