I’ve got a fresh block .40 over block & now I just bought a used up 347. I’ve got an ‘84 GT t-top ready for a build. It’s the 13th Fox I’ve owned, 16 mustangs total.

My 347 has that giant truck flow intake on it too. It’s huge. The car it came out of was a street race car from Florida that got burnt up in a garage fire. I got to cut all the hood parts off the car myself. I paid $500 for it, went to Florida and towed it home to Nc.

They’re my favorite, the SN95 was because I really loved the four valve & the newer Mach1 so for the same reason AND I got a stupid good deal on it with pretty low miles. Love this channel, keep the foxes alive.

Completely disagree. I got my LX 5.0 because I didn't like the body kit. I didn't like the Hey look at me. But the all white looks good. The LX was less weight (150lb.) which meant faster, better handling. But GT or LX, congrats on the fox body. Glad to hear you use it for road course. Beautiful car.

so when were GT's the car to own? When Foxes were new, everyone wanted the lighter LX and it got to the point where Ford started advertising the GT mustang again (1992 with that black one with the open door i think?) since there was more of a profit margin. maybe it was sometime this century? this whip looks sweet on gold rims with the white, i'm used to black webbed rims on white Buick T types so this looks nice.

@@GearHead704 that could be possible, certainly car fashion is regional--perhaps the closer one was to NJ, the more they sought out black LX coupes since that's what seemed to be in the NY published car magazines (Cars Illustrated, etc) and going against Buick GNs back in the day. Around Thanksgiving I scored a free GT body kit from an owner building a serious one (tube chassis etc) who just got sick of trying to jack the car up for tuning without ripping it off. I own a rusty 1986 Gt and wonder about trying it out...or Capri fenders and SVO flares. y'know, just to see if anyone notices :)

Had a beautiful reef blue 93 gt that got totaled by hail. I now have a bone stock white 92gt just like this one, and ironically enough I have a 363ci dart block with trick flow 205 heads, and trick flow box intake to throw in it. Have the motor, and a ton of parts to throw in it but just haven't had the time. Seeing this has lit a fire under me to get it done. Having a tt 03 cobra and whipple 2015gt kinda made me put the foxbody on the back burner because I had 2 cars to drive.

GTs were king back in the day. My dads friend worked for a Ford dealership back in the day and he said they couldn’t even sell the coupes back in the day much less give them away as so many said they were ugly. Well now the roles have swapped and people don’t want the GTs🤦‍♂️

@@GearHead704 it’s definitely wild. I own a Ford Fairmont two door better know as a boxtop. Fairmont Futuras we’re the hot seller then for those two models. Now no one really wants the Futura model “looks like the baby Thunderbird” body style. They want the boxtop more which looks like a G body and people will pay for that body style quickly

Im really diggin this GT those ccw's look great it looks alot like the 89' California edition Saleen that I had. it looked just like an 89 GT but all racecraft suspension with a set of Borbet 5 stars and a Paxton sn89 6 lbs of boost ect... she was a ton of fun but that was like 25 foxes ago 😂 his car sounds badass & like you guys are saying you cannot get any better sound then a pushrod 5oh!!!

I was in minority back in the 90s, I did not want a GT with all the body kits I was a notchback LX guy because I wanted the clean look. Why did I rid of that car? Thinking of getting another fox body and if I do I’m already building a 363ci in my head. Nice car and motor!

Love this car, just flows nice. Live here in Australia and looking at upgrading my 5.0 in my 2002 au xr8 falcon ute. It users the 93 cobra motor, looking at costs at the moment, weather to buy a 5.0 motor and send it to a shop and get it built into a 347 before I ship it back here to Australia or buy a full built 363 from shafiroff racing and then buy a holley systamax intake and 75mm Tb to bolt on top.

That's a nice-looking GT. They look so much cleaner with LX taillights. If it were mine, I would swap a stock hood back on it and consider a Saleen rear wing. The wheels and ride height look great.

@@GearHead704 worth it to me she was clean clean and didn’t look cheap parts or cut corners I have no problem paying for quality I almost came up on a 93 cobra r my buddy found it in Texas called me I got a on a plane with cash by the time I got there she was gone 50k this was bout 6 yrs ago I woulda paid it in a second if it was there when I landed ended up going to Vegas and made out pretty well so it wasn’t a wasted trip I guess but I was heartbroken
