@MichXJdad the new 7.3 is actually a big block.. at least in dimensions. Far as I know it also uses the modular family bell housing. Which means a manual transmission could easily be attached to it. Stock they make roughly 360hp and 450tq.. they could be an absolute monster. But then again, so can a raptor tuned and modified 6.2 "boss"..
@PureCountryof914 жыл бұрын
@@Boredoutofmywits several good pulls. The truck blocks are crossbolted. Or start with the 400"m", bore, better cam and pistons. Send it. Or go crazy and get 351 Aussie heads, cam, pistons, send it. Add boost? Yep, that too, but at that point it becomes a different animal.

I’m running 363, afr185, rpm2 intake, 224/232 cam, GeForce t5, 1 3/4 BBK long tubes w/3” collector mod, xpipe, 3.55 gears, EFI, peak 420rwhp at 6k. In your opinion, where am I leaving 80 hp on the table? I would have guessed 500hp for your combo but at a much higher rpm- 6800(?). Is that a solid roller cam? How much vac at idle? Your car is a monster for sure!!
@markturner19513 жыл бұрын
The AFR 185 heads arent as good as the victor jr IMO. I feel like the carbureted setup is good for more power over Factory style injection. it made peak power at 6900 rpm. the rpm reading wasnt acting right that day. The cam is a custom 235-243 .575/.585 lift cam on a 112 lsa
