I just bought the Bodega TWW55 (59 qt). Obviously mine is made in the the same plant as this one. Down to the menu being the same. Other than the Bodega is blue and this one is tan. Great review, as always. I like your technical specs. Thanks.

Thanks Hobo, this is the one I need, the blueetti 51 qt.was to big. The freezer section was to big and froze things I didn't need frozen. You are so right about ouside temperature and because of summer fires obscuring sunlight solar power is not reliable during the day. Now with storing this in a hot truck ( 90-100+) F while fly fishing between 0700 and taking an afternoon break because it's to hot to fish then finding partial shade during 1200 to 1700 so as to use solar power. Then coming back to the truck to end the day around sunset my blueeti 700 should be charged enough to get me through the night and into the next day.And having the small battery backup keeps me from draining the car battery which happened a couple of times. It is hard to do the math figuring. Maybe just eating bad expensive resturant food for 2+ months would be cheaper. I don't eat that much anyway there are big rainbows to be caught and released.

Thanks for the video I just bought the change moore 48-quart dual-zone using your link, tax and all came to $320 they had $100 off coupon, I'll be in Arizona later this summer I guess we'll see how it holds up in the heat, going to keep it in the bed of my truck housed in a Kobalt job box, running on three letter acid batteries being charged with 100 watt 12 volt panels mounted to the roof of my F350, I'll post updates on my channel Aught Esoteric and possibly this off grid wood channel also

I’ve always been skeptical of lower priced dual zone units, so I bought the BougeRV single compartment. Definitely times that I wish that I could retain ice cubes, while not sacrificing 30- degree to 40-degree cool compartment. This looks like a great option. 👍🏻

Although this is nice, I'll stick with my 1970's Norcold 12v/110 fridge that my grandmother gave me 20 years ago. Gets ice cold and never uses more than 10% of my Jackery 1500 power through the night.

I have the TWW45 also. Love it so far. Since these are clearly made by the same manufacturer, I wonder if they all have the same compressor... 🤔. I think New Air's TWW45 has an LG compressor .

Is this fridge an older design? Some people have speculated that it is and that they are phasing out the batteries for this cooler. Some of these coolers have lost their USB ports as well.

How is the lid on the cooler holding up? I'm not really a fan of how the reversible hinge is part of the molded plastic lid. Seems like other designs that latch into place on both ends is a lot superior but also slightly more costly. Does the lid feel like it seals well?

can you review the new ryobi 300 watt auto/18v battery inverter if you can get one. home depot has the small inverter, but i didn't see the other one that can be connected directly to a car battery, plugged into the cigarette lighter or the 18v battery plugs into the side. i'm wondering if a solar panel could be plugged into it since it has the 18v cigarette lighter input.

Becarful when you charge the battery with dc make sure you use the correct dc volt and amp.i bought a fridge freezer dt pro and wasn't specific on the DC. It exploded caught fire.just fair warning

I drive a truck over the road and I currently use a Coleman 12v cooler. I have went threw 4 coolers in the past 2 years. Mine runs 24/7 for a month at a time, then off for 2 days home then repeat. Have you done a test on any cooler inside of a semi truck or something similar? My issue with the Coleman is the plug that goes into the cigarette lighter gets really hot and melts. .can you help with this? Is the ug too long, or is it something else? I'm wanting a better cooler anyways, but I seen your videos and it seems like u know what you're talking about. Thank you sir!
