super helpful and informative - always helpful for me to keep stuff like this in mind for reference.

I loved my 70d, but the wild thing is, I totally wore it out during my photo booth days. I made a lot of money, and that lil guy supported my family for years. I eventually replaced it with an 80d and I use that one as the family camera for my teenagers.

Sounds like one of my X-T3 bodies from a few years back. It's the only camera I ever owned that ever had an issue. 400k clicks so it's forgivable but the 70D is still going. I think it's because of how reliant I've become on continuous shooting nowadays vs timing everything when I was using this.

I still use it when I go on random walks and keep it rugged.

I've been wanting do downsize and hate that I started shooting with this again to justify keeping it.

I ended up buying my girlfriend a 60D a couple months ago. Just so she could practice and get the feel for it. The cameras now have become so user friendly It almost makes the 60D seem hard to use. That's after like 8 years shooting mirrorless. 😢

You know what though, I've been really enjoying the old DSLRs recently. The 5D Classic is almost 20 years old and I've started carrying it everywhere with me.

I apologize I am still delivering for my full-time job and I use voice to text. I got my girlfriend the 60D in a package deal that I bought the 16 to 35 Mark II in. The journey to full-time has begun!

I'm a Canon shooter too and bought everything I'll ever use there. Everything is so damn expensive, it better last at least a decade.
