its disappointing that Makita doesn't have a decent selection of nailers

Makita is not so big in nailers , but they make lot of garden tools , if they just would put their garden tool R&D crew to figuring out nailers . Would also like to see staplers , for 1/4" and 1" wide , they do have pneumatic versions , so cant be hard to make them as cordless .

Makes me angry, I'm ridiculously heavy into Makita cordless tools and I'm reluctant to have to deal with multiple platforms, but I'm getting close to branching into Hikoki because of this.

Bought one. Your video is far better than the company video on Amazon. Why do companies think loud music and zooming sells tools? No instruction manual in the box. They make an AC adaptor BTW. So there is no nail depth adjustment?

@philhines
@philhines Жыл бұрын
Yeah but “Lifetime” means that if it craps out they say ‘yeah that was the lifetime of the tool’. So it means nothing. 6 years means if it craps out in 5.5 years, they have to replace it.
@histguy101
@histguy101 Жыл бұрын
@@philhines lifetime means production lifespan, or if discontinued, as long as they still have the parts available to repair it. It translates to roughly a 10-12 year warranty for most tools.

13:00 firing thru bare metal should be fine in lieu of that pesky hard to reach nail hole should be A-OK for load if firing into solid wood & not say between 2x members behind the plate (probably actually better that thru a hole truth be told). One caveat: thicker strap metal may provide a dangerous situation. 2nd caveat: NEVER try a shot thru metal w/gun at an angle as it'll glance out & fly the nail g.k.w.
