I’d like to see you review the hikoki oil impulse driver similar to the Milwaukee surge but it looks nice and supposedly a bit quieter than the Milwaukee and looks good, it can also use 14.4 or 18v packs and that WR36de mentioned I’ve had it about a year now as it’s one of the very few tools released in the states at close to the same time as Japan and it’s broken free Honda crankshaft bolts anything I’ve thrown at it surprisingly the only one out there stronger is the XGT which and the DCF 891 but if ur interested gimme a hollar I’d let you test it out to get ur hands on one test it up against others and man you need to try the flex inline belt driven circular saw it’s something else man

Still waiting to see the Track saw in any other market other than AU/NZ. Bought the pistol blower from Amazon Japan, really nice little tool. They still have plenty of holes in their line-up that need to be filled (1/4 sheet sander, detail sander, maybe a hand held spindle sander???) Problem is that any new larger batteries won't fit some of the current tools like the table saw. They would need to make an adapter of some kind. granted, I'm happy running it with the 2.5 and 4ah 36 batteries that we have now, or grabbing the AC adapter if I have power available.

I'm on Metabo's CAS system, and I'm glad that there are several machines (vacuum cleaners, compressors, etc.) that share the same base, because they can be cheaper that way.
@haZee11118 ай бұрын
I feel like until now mostly Metabo tools have been converted to the Hikoki battery platform, but not many Hikoki tools have been converted to Metabo CAS. As i'm on the CAS as well i hope this will chance in the future. There are a lot of tools that would come in handy, like the battery router or more nailers.
@robertkovacic46238 ай бұрын
Smal router...it would be nice, but nailer...I doubt it, because Prebena is also in CAS...unless Prebena will also make MetaboHPT/Hikoki nailers... I was thinking more of simple tools, like lamps, radios, fans, USB charging adapters, etc... Maybe even small routers, because they require extensive accessories, and here an almost identical platform would bring lower prices... it's similar with their plunge saw, which shares most elements.
@haZee11118 ай бұрын
@@robertkovacic4623That's right, but a small finish nailer is missing nonetheless, for small 16-50mm nails for skirting for example... and afaik Metabo took the large nailer from Hikoki, so maybe there is hope. The tools you've mentioned are all available for CAS, good lights, a new radio just came out, a fan and a charging adapter are available as well.

Changing from Hitachi to Hikoki didn't seem to matter. @gnsavage18 ай бұрын
@@riba2233Considering how many battery to tool adaptors there are on the market for all the major brands which work well, I'd be interested to hear why you think that it would be so much harder? The Hikoki Multivolt and the Makita XGT both run at the same voltage. Definitely not saying you're wrong but genuinely interested to hear why you think it wouldn't work for this combination.
@riba22338 ай бұрын
@@gnsavage1 xgt has proprietary digital communication which tools need to even start, it has been decoded but still not as simple as just connecting plus and minus and adding a resistor. And multivolt also has some signals to enable 18 or 36v mode, so when you add all of that up you get a nice mess. But it still is possible in theory, I just doubt we will see it.
