37422 MEGA ERUPTION At York | Thrash And Clag | RHTT York 9/12/23

Wow! 37422 and 37419 make an impressive departure from York after arriving with the late RHTT service. See the loco obliterate Yorks foundations on its way to Scarborough. This train was 2x Class 37s with a Rail Head Treatment Train set (RHTT). Locos were 37422 and 37419 departing York 5 mins late. 37422 'Victorious' wore a standard work stained dark blue livery with a headboard reading: 'York Leaf Busters' while 37419 'Driver Tony Kay' wore an Intercity livery. They had raw steam inside for delivery to heritage railways, this can be seen venting from below due to expansion ! Sometimes they have "magic" smoke for electric locomotives to use when they have an unplanned venting ! Hope this helps 😂

Not sure what liquid is in those tanks but locos and tanks are covered in it. Lead loco in BR blue with both TOPS and pre TOPS numbers, filthy dirty but covered in shiney liquid. Track weedkiller? Tank wagons and rear loco the same.
