NYC is always in my heart, even though I've not lived there in many, many years. My snowglobe of the Manhattan skyline is displayed prominently in my living room. I life in California now (formerly from Manhattan) and we have tons of Eucalyptus trees (right in our front and back yards), too, and very few people in Cali do this. They are a huge allergen for some people, but some fall for it being an exotic aroma? It just makes me think of wildfire season (and I'm sure in AU you can relate)
