A few days ago I discovered your channel, I don't usually like the videos of people who live in NYC because they are very pretentious, but your personality is so sincere, it is clear that you do not pretend to be someone you are not, I notice the naturalness of simply wanting to share a little bit of your life. Thank you so much for that! ✌️☀️✨🌟

I just saw Hit Man. Did you see it yet? Would be interested to hear your reaction to it. You have a long way to go but seniors get a discount on movie tickets. I have friends that have said they were seniors to a movie ticket taker since they were 40. Their rationale: those kids are like 19, we all look like seniors to them! 🤷♀️

I bought a screen at thrift store foe $10.00 and a projector that also takes dvd's. I take it when I go camping. Close to where I camp, there is a drive-in theatre. I will go if I like what is playing. Last movie I saw there was Cruella deVil.. I loved the movie and it was so much better watching it outside.. I also bought the dvd. I go to a movie about 2 to 3 times a month. We have a $5.00 movie theatre in Calgary, $5.00 for the movie and $20.00 for the nacho, drink, licorce, popcorn combo.😊

At my previous job, our team would rotate someone to be responsible for the music we would play in the background while working, but every Friday was special where if a song was played and you could correctly name a movie it was featured in, you would get 2 points and 1 point for a TV show. At the end of the day, there wasn't any real winner, except bragging rights. Sounds like you would have been excellent at that game!

Great setup! I grew up near a small town. It didn’t always have a movie theater but my family loved going. You only had one choice each weekend but it was the best time. I remember standing in line for Jaws. Sometimes we’d go to the city and watch 2 or 3 movies in a roll. Then the VCR was invented. We’d rent 8 or 10 videos a weekend. Once I moved to an even bigger city I went to the movies every week. I don’t go as often now with streaming and the higher prices but I do have a lot of great movie memories. BTW, in Texas we always went to the show. I don’t hear that as often anymore. I couldn’t even tell you my favorite movie. There are so many.

Hi, Gail. Even though I would find it hard to do without a TV myself, even in my 230 square ft. loft, I admire your ingenuity and technical skill. Here in Raleigh, I rely mostly on Alamo Drafthouse. Wish I had easy access to the art movie houses that NYC offers. My favorite movie of all time is North by Northwest, and on Jan. 1st of this year, I saw The Apartment for the first time (at Alamo). It quickly became one of my favorites. Wishing you many happy hours of movie watching and keep up the good work! Judy B.

I used to love to see movies in a nice theater. We have an IMAX that serves cocktails and before the plandemic, they actually took your order from your seat (seats by reservation) and delivered the beverages (and food if ordered) TO your seat. Now one has to order at the bar and take whatever to your seat. No biggie. But I’ve given up movies (at the theater) because I CAN watch from home if I want to see something. Overall it’s just a better experience beyond the aspect of saving money. Once again, your creativity and ingenuity designed a perfect solution! A private viewing event for yourself and anyone you share the experience with. P.S. I’d like to encourage you to make your popcorn 🍿 stovetop. Information about the chemicals in microwave popcorn has been discovered to be linked to neurological problems as you age. I know you run and take care of your health so just sharing as I think you would want to know! Cut 🎬 🎞️ 😊
