After watching this again, I have a theory where the storyline of Penacony is like a loop. We lost to Sunday, leading to events from versions 2.0 to 2.2 playing out repeatedly. Everything happens similarly until Sunday wins, creating a reality that's familiar but more confusing. This explains various character actions and odd events (sparkle’s info dumps, aventurine’s plan, misha being able to go into the irl hotel, firefly’ closeness to us, and being excited to see us when we don’t even know her). Sunday knew he had already won and, with Mr. Gopherwood, just needed to eliminate Acheron. Acheron, losing her memories, couldn’t tell which loop she was in, which is why she remarked in 2.0 that it felt like multiple versions of us were responding at once. To her, all responses overlapped from different loops. Sunday ultimately loses because he didn't account for Acheron's plan. She takes the title of Galaxy Ranger and pulls in others like Boothill to wake everyone up in Penacony. The Trailblazer's sensitivity helps them sense that this reality is false, and they see "visions" of the future because it’s the last point they had a linear view of time. After entering Penacony, we were stuck in a loop until Sunday was beaten, but this just continued the cycle. It wasn’t until Acheron set her plan in motion that we truly woke up. Her goals as a self-annihilator and releasing Tiernman to the afterlife with the rest of the departed crew. Misha gave us the legacy due to multiple coincidences in this loop: - Acheron contacting and getting Boothill into the dreamscape - Firefly/Sam making contact after 11 tries (previous loops) - Following Aventurine’s plan to escape the loop - Letting Sparkle and Gallagher act - Trailblazer making contact This loop allowed breaking Ena’s control due to Mikhail’s legacy being passed, letting Gallagher and Misha truly depart. Xipe would not gaze upon the Trailblazer if these events had happened repeatedly without the legacy passing. Sunday didn’t apprehend Acheron earlier because he couldn’t remember. The loop had to play out as before for his win, and until he fully merged with reality, he couldn't change the loop. He could only intervene after gaining power, possibly during the Sunday boss fight. The loop theory keeps the timeline straight, explaining characters like Sparkle and Firefly acting strangely in 2.0. It's similar to "Bendy and the Ink Machine," where a cycle repeats until the protagonist finally breaks out. Acheron praised Firefly for waking up early from the loop, likely due to her past experiences and brainwashing, helping Acheron wake everyone up.

Well nope... but I feel like it was just misha calling out to us. After all when we entered the dreamscape, we've had flashes of misha himself. And we would've already met him technically by then before the defeat.

@@netherfire50Maybe it was just Misha calling us, but the game says Misha only appears in dreams. Notice that we (the Trailblazer) have experienced multiple flashbacks before starting our journey. For example, we see Misha before entering Penacony and have a flashback about Jarilo-VI before going there, as seen during the first battle on the train together with Dan Heng, Himeko and March 7thjourney (edit: it was in the cutscene where we fight the doomsday beast) This suggests the Stellaron inside us allows us to foresee future events. These flashbacks might be hints, preparing us for what lies ahead. Misha’s appearances, combined with our visions, could be important guidance. Our ability to see these flashbacks might explain why events sometimes feel familiar (like Deja vu). It's all thanks to the Stellaron’s power inside us somehow we can see the future things that will happen soon in our journey.

Imagine if all our answers to the red colored questions lead to different endings/scenes played out in the future. Also, the line: "How interesting. For a split second i felt like countless versions of you, alike yet distict, gave entirely different responses." could allude to players choosing at that same time, therefore breaking the 4th wall in every players game.

I think it also possibly alludes to the fact that Trailblazer seems to have greater control over their own fate thematically… or maybe literally. Acheron seemed caught off guard, like she had never sensed that before. She may have the power to see the fate of others, she always talks like she knows the future. Idk, she is hiding something though.

When she talks about an old friend who stood shoulder to shoulder with her (Stelle)- Kiana When she talks about memories of a person she crossed blades with, (Caelus) she was either referring to Kevin or Adam

Fun Fact: Acheron cannot be seen by Elio and is not in his scripts. Acheron is like a black hole, cannot be seen from a distance(looking into the future) but when up close can be seen(in person). This is due to her being the Emanator of Nihility, essentially a void.

I think one of the craziest things I've seen about Acheron is that your choices during this conversation cause her to respond differently to your words when you meet her in the hotel room later. Picking the same dialogue options, and getting a different response in red text from other players? Hoyoverse really is fucking with us at this point and I completely love it.

They have met in the future but Finality moves backwards so this is their "first" meeting in the timeline. Kiana is a part of finality and something happened in APHO 3 that dawei won't release because it explains too many things on HSR. Acheron is also a proper variant of Mei like Genshin Ei is, not an Expy of APHO Mei (Yayi) which we will meet at possibly v4.

I think she might be referring to Kafka, Raiden is still active in HI3rd so it wouldn’t make sense for her to exist both in HSR and HI3rd at the same time. It makes sense for Welt because welt disappeared from HI3rd. Kafka is essentially the mom of the MC, so she carried Kafka’s essence with them. They also both follow the path of Nihility, and represent Nihility to its most extreme lore wise

You can tell she definitely ulted us indicated by her one eye tearing and us getting slashed without seeing it because time stopped which further support the idea that she ulted.
