So nice to hear you speak. It is interesting to hear about your background, your thought process and your quest for the perfect opportunity to paint a particular scene. Your overall depth of knowledge about the history of art is laudable. Great conversation between you and Charlie because you both love history. What a story-teller you are!!! I love "Rail, Stone and Steel" and the "Trestle Shadow." It's marvelous that you have the ability, which you've worked hard to perfect, to take on the difficult elements of a scene. Your color harmonies always grab my attention and I always immediately come to the realization that you are making a statement (and telling us a story) with each painting. Personally, I hold to the belief that you are one of our best 'living artists' in the World. Thank you so much. (I am writing from my town near Montana d'Oro, Central Coast of California)
