They need to stop inducting rappers and pop stars into the goddamned Rock n Roll hall of fame and start putting rockers in there again STARTING WITH .38 SPECIAL!! This was a great performance. Even the backup singers sound like a church full of hammond organs. I would have lost mind at this concert.

Carol Bristow and Lu Moss both looking - and sounding - mighty,, mighty fine. Don Barnes and Jeff Carlisi both wailing guitarists, able to switch back and forth between lead and rhythm at the drop of a hat. Twin drummers give it extra oomph. Gotta be one of the best covers ever.

You can tell how long ago they did this song...aside from the players, you can tell because Don`s guitar still has the red finish on it that`s been worn/sweated off through the years..I`ve seen them 15 times, always a super show, hoping they can come through the Binghamton area next year.Keep rocking, Don..

Creedence seemed to the one band from the 60s that all the Southern rockers identified most with, even though they were from California. I'm reminded of the fact that Skynyrd played "Proud Mary" in their early daze.

it was a sad time in our country a government(LBJ and McNamara) that led us into this conflict and the negative reporting by the press- Charlie(the Viet Cong )were no longer and effective fighting force after after The Tat Offence- the N.V.A. lost 40 to 60 thousand men. And then Marvin the Arvin threw dowtheir weapons and ran like hell to be evacuated by Uncle Sam"s Navy.I am so heartbroken at all the young American Lives wasted in that conflict. And the same thing is going On in Afghanistan their soldiers will not defend their own country the go AWOL by the thousands.NO MORE FORIENG ENTANGLEMENTS-the blood of our youth is to sacred. Thank you for listening God Bless.

You'll probably miss it due to coronavirus, but I saw them with Kansas and if you have your choice of the two, get the Kansas tickets. Don is the only one left, and the guys in the band arent near what these guys were. Barnes puts on an OK show but just OK. .38 Special is awesome - and so is this cover. Incredible. Jeff Carlisi and Don Barnes = one of the best guitar duos in rock history. And Don the triple - threat. Lead & rhythm guitar, at a high level.... and phenomenal vocals. What talent these guys were. Amazing Band. If you dig this.... go check out Bill Leverty's cover of Fortunate Son. A little more high octane. But still soulful - and magnificent, IMO. Bill Leverty is another of the all-time great rockers.
