I once had a 1985 SS Monte Carlo with a 350, but whoever had before me put 305 heads on it and it did make pretty good power. But after beaten on it as one does, I started getting header leaks. Well I come to find out GM had cheapened out and had put press in studs on the block for the headers. Yes, that's right, Press in studs! Man, I thought that was about the sorriest crap I had ever seen. I ended up taking it to a shop and had them thread every single stud hole

The guy who taught me to build engines agreed with sealants around water ports but NEVER anything around intake ports. Just asking for a vacuum leak.

I was advised the opposite. Everyone has their own preference. I’ve had zero issues with it. It runs great and has no leaks.

Wonder if this pan would fit a 98 k1500 z71 truck 🤔 I'm pretty sure they fit the c1500 but not sure about the truck being 4x4

Try the Motion Pro adjustable torque wrench adapter . Use a box wrench connected to your torque wrench.

Two grunts and a fart is the precise torque for the small wrench on the intake
