Nyman really needs to get more airtime. I can't stand all the classical music stations that refuse to play anything more recent than Aaron Copeland.

This recording was first uploaded on youtube around 2009 / 2010... so glad it survives here... I have been coming back to this version for years for the energy and the feel of this performance... Whatever 'it' is, this performance has 'it' in spades. I wish I was there to witness... no CD, or other live recording, I have seen, captures water dances stroking like this, with the passion and energy of the musicians; its uplifting; its hair raising and encouragingly relentless in its delivery ... building you into a happy smile... It does need more volume for full effect... up the db through good headphones and it will give you shivers... :-)
