At the time of the development of the house architecture known as Mid-Century Modern, there was also an evolution in handmade timber furniture design. This technique of cutting the timber to bend it was used extensively to create beautiful strong yet light furniture to go into the beautiful houses. The furniture sat lightly in the picture of the house complimenting it, not overpowering the beauty of the home.

Add sage leaves to your peat as sage is an excellent natural disinfectant and odor eliminator ( works in smelly trainers too!)

Thanks for making the video. I just came across your channel and subscribed. I will be building an off-grid cabin next spring and have been wondering what I would do for a composting toilet. I had no idea that plywood would bend like that. You did a great job. I plan to make a toilet like you have in the video so I appreciate your sharing it. I have two hounds that I have to keep an eye on because they will run off if they see something to chase. Lou (my American Foxhound) chased a deer a few years ago and was gone for hours so I know how stressful it can be when they run off like that.

I keep my humanure bucket with a lid! on top of shredded Bay leaves for interleaving in a retro plastic laundry conta\iner similar shape to dustbin.Contents emptied into garden compost bin I guess there is no smell as a result of using the Bay leaves. Visitors using the bathroom comment on the 'collectable; vintage laundry container! I have been doing this for decades to the clear benefit of the garden.

Annie! your Portuguese is far better than mine :) you need to clean the left over glue when you make the bend, before it dries out, to leave the interior face as smooth as possible! We are still loving the outdoor shower, we set the water temp at 34-36 and it is just amazing, then a quick run to get back inside the Cabin :) see you tomorrow for the bathroom episode. It came out REALLY well!
