Hi there, Patriot Six. I just want to say thanks for all of your tutorials. They helped me a lot understand and even build or modify some default sceneries I'm using on my own trips. The one thing I organize differently are the windows. Like you said each one has its own way setting up them. Regarding the Pats, I lived in the Boston area for 35 years enjoying every season of the Patriots ! 😁

I am glad the videos helped. Thanks for watching. I live in the Nashville area but still a Pat's fan. I visited Boston. It was a lot of fun and a place every American should see. It all started there. I did take the Patriot's train to Foxborough for a game. It was a wonderful experience. I also saw Brady, which was on my bucket list. Oddly, the Patriots played the Titans here the following year, but the ticket prices were so expensive that I could have gone back to Boston for a weekend. Crazy story. I purchased tickets to the Pats and the Arizona Cardinals last year. We turned the trip into a week's vacation to see Arizona and culminated the vacation with the Monday night game. Unfortunately, I came down with bacterial pneumonia, spent four days in the hospital, and missed the game. $900 tickets down the drain. Life happens.

I have a problem, SampleMyBox does not work in objects, it is displayed as unknown and I cannot add my own object on its example

I would love to help you, but it will be virtually impossible in KZbin chat. However, I can offer a couple of alternative methods. You can join Discord or the Facebook Group, or both. The options and ability to communicate are better using a different approach. I have so many questions. With all I have done with scenery, I have never used or needed to use "SampleMyBox." The first question I have is why you would need "SampleMyBox"? What are you doing that I have never done? If I need to read this more carefully, please let me know. We could go back and forth for days on KZbin chat without a resolution. I want to help, but we must take it to another forum to succeed. If you use an alternative communication method, please remind me who you are and remind me of the issue. KZbin names, Discord names, and Facebook names are sometimes different. is there any advantage to making a folder this way compared to creating a new project inside the project editor? just wondering...

It is a zero-sum game. There is no advantage to either method. Use the method you are more comfortable using.

Hi Patriot Six, do you know what it could be that since two months every time I export the project, I click on the build package, I get punctually in CTD crash on the desktop? Not only at start but even working the project. This is making me crazy because I don't understand what it can be, I also reinstalled the core...last..everything. what can it be?

I have experienced CTDs when building packages. It usually occurs to me when I rebuild a package I recently built. For example, I build the package, do something unrelated and then build the package again because I can't remember if I built the package the first time. So, I build again, and sometimes I get a CTD. When this happens, I start again and load the project and build the package again. It usually works fine. I don't recall having a CTD while building, but it may have happened over the last two years, and I am trying to remember. I also use a rolling cache to assist with scenery loads. I also inject Google Maps; Bing and Google do not coexist well. So, if I forget to start the Google injector, I must delete and build a new cache. Lastly, I run DX11. DX 12 causes CTDs for me. I do not know the reason, so I stay with DX-11. I do not have many CTDs, so that is the information I have. I hope you figure it out. CTDs can make you crazy. Good luck.

@@PilotOnFly Man, I am sorry. I have no idea what is causing it, as every setup and system is individual. On Developer Mode, there is an option to inhibit crashes. It might be under options. I have it checked, but I am not sure of its effectiveness.

Thanks for watching. I have never considered a video on carriers because I thought landable carriers were available in the sim. No? Also, that is a complex project to be your first attempt. It takes starting out small and working to improve your skills. In my opinion, you can go small before thinking big. 😃

@@patriotsix5880 Hi PSix. Thanks for this. I am familiar with scenery editor by using your tuturials. With the Jayshrike world carriers freeware, you can apparently ad them to scenery, and use them for landing, but the arrestors, may not work. I am typying this response out a 2nd time, the other reply did not make it, I added a link to the download page, and it may have scrubbed it. Would you be able to make a video on using the worldscript function?

@@Nath4n1977 Hi birdy. I had to do research on this and the mod. The arrestors are self-explanatory, but I wanted to see for myself since I have never served on a carrier. Still, I have a general idea based on seeing videos of carrier landings. I also looked at the mod you are referring to. The way it reads indicates everything works. This line here I find particularly interesting. "3. To land at the carrier, extend the tailhook (CTRL + H)." My question is, why would you extend the hook if it did not work like a hook should? I would give it a shot. I think it should work as is. If not, let me know, and we can explore alternatives.

@patriotsix5880 I read some comment on the download page, a reply from the creator. He mentions areas..i don't know that means in the world or something else, the arrestors sometimes don't work.
