Seeing him look down at the mask and him actively knowing he managed to get the kids to haunt the suits means he knew that once he was springlocked it was over but he knew he would die and haunt the suit like the kids and in the process him saying he always comes back was to taunt them all in a way so that theyd maybe believe he wasn't truly dead.

The sound of her voice when she said, "I actually liked that a lot, and it was interesting," left me feeling incredibly thankful. That doesn’t automatically stop people from having criticism. It’s ok to enjoy it still, I liked it quite a bit, but understand that just because it’s only made for fans doesn’t automatically mean it’s an objectively 10/10 movie. I still had problems with the movie and I’m a fan of this series as well.

That doesn’t automatically disqualify it from any criticism. The movie was OK at best sorry to say. The only reason people like you are raving about it is because of your allegiance to the franchise while wearing rose tinted glasses. There’s a reason most outsiders of the franchise aren’t giving it great reviews. If you loved it then that’s awesome and I’m happy for you, but let’s not pretend like this is some perfect movie with 0 flaws. You can want to respect the original franchise and it’s fans all you want, but wanting to succeed and actually succeeding are 2 totally different things.

so, matthew lilard did confirm that he signed a 3 picture deal for fnaf, so this is how I think they should do the next 2 confirmed movies. I personally think for the next movie it should be a prequal, explaining the "afton era", and how he went insane following the death of the crying child (bite of '83). Then the 3rd movie should be all the springtrap stuff, and possibly even going as far as fnaf 6, and the fire, which could close out the trilogy perfectly, as it should have for the games.

When Mike told Vanessa about his kidnapped younger brother, she should have had a line saying that she also had a younger brother that passed when she was younger. She can say something like “it made my father go crazy” and then later when she reveals who her father is Mike puts together the whole “your father who went crazy” They also needed to add a moment where Mike questioned why Afton was his career counselor and Afton explaining it was his way to lay low with a fake name.

10:30 I was expecting the movie to use something from the book to explain this, like revealing he used her for his experiments and was messing with her mind to keep her on his side. Hell, I was almost expecting her to be the Charlie of this story. I agree with the "I always come back" line. One thing I would have done, show a flashback of him preforming in character and at the end of the show he cheerfully closes with something like, "But don'tcha worry! I will come back! I always come back!" That was my biggest gripe with the movie, it played things way to safe. The games and books get insanely weird, sometimes outright ridiculous, but it's these moments that help shape the stories into the horrific nightmares they truly are. Imagine if Afton had repurposed the vandals and reanimated them as human/Animatronic hybrids? What about corrupted videos/dreams with faces distorting twitching? Another thing I would have loved to see would have been a look at that springlock suits through blueprints or test video or something to give us a more clear idea how the locks look open and how they look when closed, painting a clear picture how badly it could mangle someone... Imagine how much worse this would be if Afton, putting the mask back on in a desperate attempt to control the spirits, and then one by one they activate the locks. He screams as blood stains start forming on the suit, leaking out the cracks... Then finally, the locks in the mask go off, blood spits out the mouth, he screaming is muffled... And then he drops down as a lifeless husk and the Animatronics drag him away. Then, for a post credits stinger, we get the scene of him being left in the back room focusing on his lifeless body. Slowly panning in, then "He will come back" starts whispering, over and over, faster, more voices joining until it zooms in on one of the mask eyes, it lights up as we hear a sickening, gargling gasp of air - cut to black "He always does."

I really did want to see more of Matthew as William. All I wanted more of after watching was for that scene to be longer. Also in terms of his line, I feel like he was saying it more towards the animatronics. He was smiling, knowing that he’ll put on the mask and possess the suit once he dies. He was telling them that this little “rebellion” they put up against him was for nothing, that they aren’t stopping him. It seems that his relationship with the souls is more like that of an abusive father, kinda how he already is to his real child. Again, it would’ve been cool to see more of that in action. Overall the movie was a real achievement for Fnaf, and I love it for what it is. If there’s one consistent double-edged sword about Fnaf it’s that there’s always room for improvement.

I feel like it's a hard series to adapt to live action and they did well enough for me. I really hope there are more movies because I think the sequels could be fantastic if they listen to some of the criticism. This movie definitely felt like a prototype for what could be an intense FNAF movie. They spent a ton of time fleshing out characters and the overall plot and while that's great, I think the next movie needs to go all in on surviving the animatronics. If the next movie is a prequel like FNAF2, It would be perfect as a more standalone story that is mostly horror. Either way I'm looking forward to the future installments and I hope this movie does well enough to warrant them being made. Can't wait to see Springtrap in full force. It better push PG-13 to the limits.

It first appears in FNaF 3, and a second time in Help Wanted 1. It's in relation to a game of hide and seek. There's even a short story starring RWQFSFASXC called "Hide and Seek". Hopefully that gives more context to who it is.

This, Scream 6, and Megan are my favorite movies of this year by far. And they probably will give William a motive and flash backs in the 2nd movie, hopefully.

I had so much fun with the movie! I’m okay with pretty much all of its flaws, it could be better but I really liked it anyway! I was able to come to my own conclusions with a lot of the parts that went unexplained, I think every fnaf fan should see this movie

20:52 In the film, Mike says “Our mom died a little while back. And Dad, he couldn't handle it, so…” This could either imply that his dad committed suicide, or simply left them. If it's the latter, the 2nd film could reveal that Mike’s dad is Henry, and maybe something wrong happened between Henry and William, prompting William to kidnap and murder Henry’s son, Garrett.

Yes! Maybe it's just like in fnaf 4. We don't know so much about William and Vanessa relationship and backstory, maybe she had a siblings and one of the animatronics accidentally killed her brother or sister. Maybe that's why William get mad at Henry and later we know what's happened. It would be cool. (Sorry for my English, I'm from other country and we don't use English grammar so much)

Absolutely Loved it! As FNAF Fan I'm Very pleased 😊 And The Cameos From CoryxKenshin and MatPat Was Great to See 👍 And The Animatronics Was Freaking Amazing, Not many Jump scares but I'm Not Complaining and Josh Who plays Mike Is Fantastic, and Abby's Actress Is Too, and Matthew Lillard was really good as William afton Even though he didn't have Much Screen time

I thought the movie was alright. Some of the movie definitely wasn't very serious, probably for the children audience. Especially that fort-building scene. It was really nice seeing Matthew Lillard portraying a psychopath with a knife. Also, those close-ups of his ribs being crushed by his own technology was really eye-appesling.
@MasonProductions12 Жыл бұрын
For the next movie, I’m hoping it’s a prequel, sort of like the games, and it can follow William afton through his life, from opening up fredbears diner, to becoming a mass killer, and maybe there could be a post credit scene showing spring trap turning back on saying the iconic phrase “I Always, Come Back!”

What's crazy is I've always hated on FNAF. Always thought the animatronics were cringey and such, but after watching this movie and understanding more of the unique lore, it makes me want to play through every single game, and get into it. I like movies and media that makes me think, and this movie made me think about astral projection, and dreams. Ive had reoccuring dreams like what was shown in the movie, and it does make you sit and think deeply. Awesome video!

i will say there's likely a directors cut that's going to be released because if you think back to the trailers there are a good few scene's that just don't appear in the movie

Honestly if it was 3 hours and they showed Williams killings and maybe him going around before the place shut down and actually see him do stuff would’ve been amazing And maybe a chase seen with him More jump scares and horror parts would’ve been cool too

I have been a diehard FNAF fan since 2014, I get that as a movie its not the best and has it flaws, but I loved this movie. By the end I was tearing up especially after the springlock scene, and then TLT's FNAF 1 song started playing and I just started full on crying (of happiness).
@jardex2275 Жыл бұрын
It sounds like the second movie should split the runtime between being a sequel and prequel. Show flashbacks that tell us why Afton does what he does, and balance it with a sequel that shows Mike's search for his brother.

Really appreciating how you didn’t put any important moments in the thumbnail and you said right off the bat that there were spoilers. Liked just for that.

i overall loved the movie, i was the peak age for fnaf back in the day and IT CONSUMED ME. i was obsessed- fanart, fanfics, anamatics, songs, just some weirdness overall (calling purple guy vincent bc no one knew his name) i was lowkey holding back tears at some of the scenes where it was just mike walking through the pizzera and not to mention, how amazing the animatronics looked. the details on all of them was amazing, foxy has always been my favorite of the main 5 (how i felt after listening to those sad foxy songs: 🥺😱😥😢😡🖤🖤💔💔🔗) there were some things i didnt rlly like but the pros heavily outweigh the cons

I saw this today with my dad and cousin, and since they are not fans like me their aspect on it was a lot different and negative compared to me - I really enjoyed it. It was slow during the beginning but got more interesting during the break-in and when they try and kill Abby. I was disappointed they didn't reference the lullaby that they had been doing in the trailers that would have made me like it further and I agree that they needed to make the story make a bit more sense. Personally I think the "I always come back!" line made sense because he is saying that they can try and stop him but he will just keep returning, although I wish he delivers the line like in the game to be more menacing. If they do make a sequel I'm hoping Blumhouse learn from their mistakes and take this movie to be more as a "test run". Loved a lot of parts such as the cameos and the animatronics were awesome especially that insane cupcake 🤣, and I would rate it 9/10.

I noticed that the book at the beginning was called “Dream Theory,” and I feel like that has to be a reference to the dream theory from back in FNAF 4. Loved that they actually included Sparky, though. I never even considered that they might do that! Finally, I want to point out two things that MIGHT have been done on purpose, but it’s kinda a stretch. 1. Afton was kinda the phone guy in the movie. I feel like that had to be on purpose because pf how popular of a theory that was. 2. One of the guys who broke into the restaurant was named Carl. Carl is a popular fan name for the cupcake.

The first time I watched it I thought it was underwhelming because of the high expectations I had but my second watch with my friends made me realize how good of a movie it is and how much attention to detail and care they put into it, at the end of the day I’m just happy this movie finally got made.

Chris! You're soooo right dawg! That opening was dope and the music was a bop! 🔥 🎶 --- Also, I think that the sequel will either double down and make it a bigger fan film. OR Which is what I think, is that they'll make it more general audience friendly and explain a bit more of the history, characters and such.

I saw this movie twice in theaters and my crowd as well as myself adored it. I have my issues and should have been R. But I love the animatronics, and Springtrap coming out best part. I was surprised how good the springlock accident looked for PG-13.

I love the movie, Blumhouse did a great job, now I went to see the movie with my mom, and she doesn’t know much about financial consulting you about was a handful of the characters about the child murders but overall at the end of the movie she really liked it and understand what was going on. She did ask a lot questions afterwards, but that’s mostly coming from whatever happened in the video games and how it was different from the movie. Also she love that sweet part of the animatronics getting hang out with Abby and just be kids again 😢

The whole thing that made me so happy was Matthew Lillard was the reveal! The voice modulator and the “mask” removal total was a nod to my favorite movie of all time: Scream. If he doesn’t come back for scream 7, I will survive because I had this. I do wish he would have been around in the suit longer, maybe peppered throughout the movie? I am happy. I’ve been a diehard fan since the very first demo/release of FNAF.

Foxy was by far the scariest in the movie. That one scene that made me jump was when Foxy was standing in the front of the hallway and killed Jeff. The opening scene was also very creepy. But I absolutely enjoyed the FNAF Movie. We've waited 8 years for the FNAF Movie. Thank you Blumhouse and Scott Cawthon!!

Came back from watching it 2 hours ago and really enjoyed it! It was slow in a few parts, everyone applauded when William had the suit on and when the credits played the iconic fnaf song. Everyone gasped at Vanessa's reveal, but to be honest I didn't like the twist as much. It wouldve made sense with Steve/William being Mike's dad since he hesitated when he was about say Mike's last name, but maybe in a sequel that could happen still somehow...maybe. I'd give it a 7/10.

17:44 I think the springlock scene was far more similar to how it is in the books than it is the games, if you actually look at the scene in the graphic novel version of the first book it looks pretty similar visually, like how we see him lay on his side for a bit before ending up on his back then he gets dragged away by the animatronics just like in the movie.
@dvck6648 Жыл бұрын
Hi Chris in the credits after the post-credit scene you can hear it play the music box and that was an important mechanic in the second game and I think It's a hint for the puppet in the sequel 19:02
@Im_a_miztake Жыл бұрын
One thing that they kind of missed out on in terms of context for the springlock scene, a lot of fazbear’s tech is made on the cheap, and cuts corners in terms of safety. That’s part of the reason the spring locks are so sketchy. So it’s played for humor in the games universe, but provides vital context and tension as well since you come to distrust any tools that are at your disposal, as they’re just as likely to bite you in the butt as they are to help you.

Absolutely loved the film! It was definitely more of the suspense mysterimore than horror which was different than i expected tbh, but i still really liked the film. Fully agree with yoy on the first scebe setting that pg13 horror tone and expected it to flow through. Im really curious what the directors cut will look like with the extra scenes. Im going to be flabbergasted if there isnt one coming at some point.
