The plot line would get so ridiculous because of the fact that the Carpenter sisters fathers were the first two woodsboro killers. I know this won't happen but it would be a funny reveal.

I would find it hard to believe. Even though sam isn’t his biological daughter, he still raised her as such. It would be weird for him to suddenly hate Sam to the point of wanting her dead. Also, they haven’t referenced Tara’s dad very much at all, but they have referenced Christina. I think it would make more sense for her to become a more prominent character in the next one. I’m not sure in what capacity though. If they make it either of the parents, they need to give them one hell of a motive. As of right now, I don’t believe that either of them has a strong enough reason to want their daughters dead.

I feel like Tara's dad would be a perfect Ghostface. We don't know anything about him and he's even retroactively tied into the original Scream. He's definitely got the motive, and I would love to have a Ghostface revealed and it's someone we haven't seen before. He pulls off the mask and we're all like...huh, then Tara says "Dad?!" That would blow my mind.

WOW. Thats an amazing theory! I love that concept of Scream 7's opening being a parallel to the 1st. But Christina answers the questions right! Brilliant. It's a shame that the Carpenter storyline won't continue. Ive grown up with the first few Scream movies, but I havent watched one until 5 and 6 after all this drama happened. I love the Carpenter sisters and am so upset that this storyline won't be resolved.

I think scream 7 will take place at Sam and Danny’s wedding. Hopefully they can make it a destination wedding, something like Hawaii or the Bahamas and only the best friends and closest family are invited. That’s how you get Sam and Tara’s mom and maybe their estranged father in the story. But that also makes it so much scarier for Sam, that someone she loves and invited on this island during her WEDDING, is killing a group of their closest loved ones. I think it could be interesting

Imagine if Scream7 had two non related Ghostface that target different main victims. Like Christina could be targeting Sidney for what happend with Billy and then Tara´s dad could target Sam for revenge on her and her dad. It would be so cool if the final battle were two Ghostfaces not working together each trying to kill their respective victims while they work together to survive both killers.

Like Sam and Stu could've tried to kill everyone but Tara ended up in a coma then time jump scream 8 tara wakes up finds sam and stu and ends it all. Ending the franchise.

The only thing left to do is one of two things: 1. Sidney as the final ghostface 2. Return of Stu. Or perhaps somehow both. sidney goes crazy and stu is released from jail and stops sidney, or perhaps stu gets out of jail and is angry people are continuing his legacy without giving him credit. Its possible stu is still alive. He wasnt shot, nor was he really visibly dead

A fun idea I saw someone suggest was Gale doing a true crime documentary but not on the Carpenter sisters, rather the surviving cast of MTV’s Scream That way you could double the cast size without needing to write new characters But I do think Gale interviewing the Carpenter sisters as a way of getting their side of the story is a good moment of character growth

And the reasoning for the trip would be to celebrate the family they’ve made together, to celebrate all their friends that have past, and them graduating college. Cutting back and forth between the c4 characters and the remaining legacy characters. Maybe have Kirby with the c4 if she’s still fbi. Maybe some found footage elements with the cruise setting and maybe Sam is the cruise killer and there’s a different killer back in woodsboro. I think they should build on woodsboro. We have seen the school and some parts of it but it’s never really been a character in my opinion.Show us more. Just an idea to accompany yours. Love your idea

The defining thing about the new final girl is her connection with original gf. Her struggle with feeling a sense of relief with killing. I want them to really lean in on it. The best thing about the Scream franchise was the mystery and them emulating the first two really takes away the wow factor. Sydney needs her happy ending. They really try to add a comedic factor right, so why not add a cut scene of Sydney just living her life while the new final girl is slicing and dicing the new gf that tried her. I loved all of your predictions especially about Stu, Matthew Lillard is one of my fav actors. Love this series keep them coming *hits the subscribe button

Stu vs Sidney round 2 needs to happen. Have him retain his goofy but psycho persona after he was revealed as a killer in the first movie would be great, he gave me chills. Pretty sure it would give Sidney a lot of chills too and flashbacks from when he and Billy killed her mom and how they literally began all this Ghostface stuff for her. Maybe having him speak to Sam over the phone trying to turn her into a Ghostface like her father would be cool too. Either way if Stu doesn’t come back then I’m gonna need a 3rd live-action Scooby Doo movie.

As for ideas for the next Ghost Face’s motivation, I think it would be a cool idea if the next killer turns out to be related to one of the victims of one of the past ghost face’s killing sprees (Any past film this supposed loved one could have died in could suffice). This new antagonist believes that as long as Samantha, Sydney, and the rest of the main characters are alive, another person will try to become the next ghost face, killing everyone around them just to get to Samantha. So this new antagonist decides to take up the mantle before anyone else could, thinking that killing off all the “main characters” would finally completely kill the cycle of ghost face, with it ending with them. This would also be a good excuse to bring Sydney back into the plot, because this killer would target both her and Sam, wanting to tie up every loose end by killing both the “main characters' ' of the classic and requel movies. To sum it up, this hypothetical ghost face would be somewhat more tragic than others. A broken individual who is simply consumed in grief caused by a past ghost face. But since every individual who has become a ghost face has died (Unless you believe Stu survived), this new antagonist would lash out towards other survivors because they need an outlet they can place all the blame on. Unlike the past killer’s who embraced the ghost face moniker or the stab franchise, this one truly despises anything to do with either subjects and only does it out of means as a mockery towards the deceased GF’s and anyone who admires anything ghost face related. Nonetheless, in the end they ironically became the same monster that took that special person they cared about away from them in the first place. That’s just simply a pitch for a more unique Ghost Face motivation. I’m fine with other ideas though, especially the concept of Stu surviving and coming back for another movie.

the idea of stu being a bigger part of the movie than just the last 10-20 minutes has me tearing up tbh. just knowing how badly matthew wants to bring stu back, and how nice and genuine he seems to be, i would probably be crying in the theater seeing that actually happen and knowing how excited matthew would be if that were the case.

He’s in the same clothes we see him in in the beginning and the end after he said he was going to sleep, he wouldn’t sleep in a denim outfit 😂😂

I imagine him saving Sid in a middle or movie, everyone are like "WTF?!" , then he disappear...confuse TF Sid, who makes all to find explaination, while looking for Ghostface Cult... and then by end of movie, she finds Ghostface Cult and WHO leads it? It's kind of crazy to be honest. For the past week, I've been (for my own entertainment) dabbling with a plot/screenplay for "Scream 7". After thinking about how we can tie in Sidney and the Core 4 as well as their past, I too came to an interesting scenario that would involve Christina and Stu. It's not fully fleshed out yet, but I've got a basic reveal scene/backstory worked out already. 😅

I would like to see the plot of scream, 7 Bee about the damaging effects of true crime, not only on the uptake in copycat killers but also the damaging effects on victims. Families for example, the Carpenters mother being harassed by people and targeted by the killer wanting to emulate the ghost face killers before them, maybe have them be targeting her to draw in the two sisters.

it'd be cool if Scream 7 was split into two parts where part one could introduce the parents of the carpenters and build up to them being GF and at the very end instead of the girls killing their parents its another GF and it's revealed to be Stu then part two can focus on the fact that everyone thinks Sam is officially GF since Stu being alive is not confirmed to the public and she goes full GF to hunt Stu while Stu hunts her, having a GF v GF flick as the second and final part.

Or, Stu was emotionally manipulated by Christina and Billy, because as we all know he was in love with Billy too. The parents of stu find his journals and decide to pay off cops to take their son overseas to a mental facility. He gets attacked by Ghostface, survives and escapes. Looks for Christina to kill her, but finds her daughters instead; recognizing sam because she has Billy's features. He wants to help them now. Christina is the one trying to kill stu, but there is still a Ghostface cult following sam and Tara. So multiple Ghostfaces w/ Christina being the final reveal, trying to get her daughters to join her. Idk. I'm still half asleep, and can't wait for an official announcement

I want Stu back and the franchise has been planting the seeds for a while, especially in Scream 6. Scream 6 saved all of the main characters and a couple of them were realistically killed off so it's not farfetched to think Stu survived. The only thing that wouldn't make sense is how did no one know he wasn't alive especially with the publicity of the Stab movies and maybe you're right about moving Scream 7 to another country where Stu has been secretly living the entire time.

Maybe Stu has tipped of Richie and recruited him as the new Ghostface the same way Roman recruited Bill and Stu. Gale could have known all the time, that Stu is still alive and making a phonecall to ask If he was still locked up in the assylum, was always the first Thing she did whenever a Ghostface showed up. He could also be kind of an advisor like Hannibal Lector.

The idea of Christina carpenter being in on the kill of Maureen Prescott is iconic. I’ve always wanted to see how that went and it would be the best opening scene yet! That would also tie Sidney back to the movie with her being part of it and wanting to kill Sidney for the reason her family is destroyed now since she’s not talking to either of her kids. I love this and now I have to see it!

A couple of things I would love to see from a new scream movie, 1: it would be cool to have a movie take place when it snows 2: a cruise ship killing spree would be amazing 3: a ghost face v.s a ghost face would be cool for a movie idea. ( the way I could see this working could be either something like a 1v1v1 of ghost faces or a 2 v1 where they target the same characters, but since it’s 2/3 different groups of killers. It would be cool to see the ghost faces turn on each and mess up each others killing plans.

As much as we want the killer to be Stu, we can be pretty sure that will never happen. But I do think I know who the killers will be, or at least one of them. My guess it will be Tara/Sams mother who we haven’t seen yet. They could still cast anyone as her and her motive would be some crap about tara abandoning her for Sam and Sam ruining her life. I mean, who knows how stable this lady is anyways. A town drunk who had a thing for Billy Loomis in the past? I think she will be killer 1 for sure. The next killer could be Richi’s mom, making this the first time two women were the killers.

Problem with that imo would be they literally did the parental motivation with this sixth movie which in turn was a parallel of 2 where they did that already. That would make for a third killer whose character point is that they’re a parent.

Scream 7 final fight needs to be Christina and Stu revealed as the killers vs Sidney and Sam, that would blow my mind and would be a perfect set up. Sidney comes back for a final fight, all the ghosts of her past tied up, Stu being one of the original killers and canonically is alive in the Scream Universe plus Christina being the ex girlfriend and baby momma of Billy, stu surely would’ve known Christina at some point and all of the 4 of them are connected by one thing. A trial of a serial killer would not only be known by law enforcement, but to the general public. And peer pressure is not a defense. It would be highly unlikely he would be released after 25 years (if you ignore all the other obvious reasons why he is dead). Look at Manson (and he never directly killed anyone). And everyone knows Manson was tried and put in prison...

I hope Scream 7 doesn't mirror Scream 3 too much. The parent of the killer doing a revenge killing was a bit too obvious, though I did like the twist of three killers. If they do a call back to Scream 3, I want them to go back to the original script of having Angelina being the second killer and maybe having it revealed that she was a second killer even then too. And she can team up with Stu too. And have they could have known Richie from all the fandom stuff. And Sidney and McDreamy need to be in it too. 100% Which would be work because Stu should come back for sure!

If they want to play with the secret relative like in scream 3, well what if Hank Loomis started a new family, so Sam has an aunt or uncle around her age somewhere, and when Hank found out about his granddaughter he leaves her everything in his will which causes the secret relative to try to kill Sam in order to be next in line to get the inheritance. 😅

A christmas themed Scream set in London would be epic. I live near London and they have so many cool places they could go too. I must be part of the minority that doesn't want Stu to return. I never gravitated towards him as a killer, I'm not saying he was bad, but I didn't love him enough to want him to come back. I really hope we get introduced to Christina and actually put a face to a name. I was surprised she didn't show up for this film, but after what Sam and Gale talked about it made sense.

I think something different they should do in scream 7 is that they should maybe have a ghostface who is actually trying to protect the main characters from other ghostfaces. Like a ghostface is revealed very early on in like a very casual way and this one ghostface revealing that they’re switching sides after maybe they see that the Ghostfaces were targeting someone they loved and are very close too.

Now that we’ve gotten 3 killers and a Ghostface reveal in the opening - I think 7 should start with Sidney receiving a call, similar to how Cotton got a call - except the difference is Sidney & Mark kill the attacking Ghostface, and whoever this Ghostface is will connect to Christina Carptener - opening the reason for Sid to go to Hollywood during the Winter, while the other survivors do whatever project Gale had cooked up. Whether it’s a true crime documentary or a survivors of Ghostface episode for her show. I love the idea of a “survivors scream”, as long as characters like Joel, Lois & Murphy and Martha Meeks are heavily featured as well - I want every surviving character back lol.

Heres a fun little theory. In Scream 5 when ghost face calls Tara, he says he knows Christine from group(this is Tara and Sams mother right?). He says Christines told him she loves scary movies and that stab is her favourite. Im thinking there is some truth to this. Maybe ”group” is the subreddit where Richie met Amber. It is weird for Christine to love a movie based on murders her classmates comitted. Not to mention it also was her classmates who got murdered. Obviously Christine went to high school with Sidney, Billy, Stu and the rest. We never meet her, not even in scream 6. My hopes are that she and alive Stu will be revealed as the masterminds in scream 7, just like Roman in scream 3.

I think it would be cool if scream 7 takes place in different locations, like Woodsboro, Los Angeles, and another fictional town located idk where in the us. Sam could be attacked by a stronger and smarter Ghostface and Tara, Chad, and new characters have to drive out of New York to see Sam. While they are on the road to see Sam, another Ghostface could be chasing them. And we could see Christina Carpenter coming back to Sam and Tara trying to rebond with her two daughters We could see Stu Macher coming back with a new name and identity trying to come back to his old life without being recognized. The way scream needs to go is as follows: The villain is now the Cult of Ghost Face. Sam has given in to the voices and is now the Ghost Face Killer Killer. Tara is fighting internally as to whether or not she accepts the kill or be killed mentality while watches Tara downward spiral in to the life of a serial killer.

(That would connect it to the scene where Stu tells Sidney that he was quite literally “peer pressured” into everything in the first film) Making Stu innocent and possibly a victim of Ghostface but for sure NOT a Ghostface. MAYBE he could even sacrifice himself for the girls? And die as a hero instead of the villain he was portrayed to be? Idk just spitballing here 💀

Where you mention the thing about the lost sibling, 7:22 , I personally think that it would be cool instead of doing the same thing like in Scream 3 with Roman to do it with Stu. It would be very exciting if Stu returns like a final boss or something and it turns out he had been pulling the strings all this time and to finish it all, the characters have to kill Stu and it will be grand finale. And maybe the 7th movie to be final, so both generations have 3 movies each, the fourth movie will be something like a bridge between them.
