Patrick Wilson would've been such a better looking Aquaman. Maybe even a comic accurate Aquaman at that. I loved his performance in both Watchmen and the Insidious movies. I get that maybe Snyder or Wan chose Momoa because they wanted to have a very Greek mythological look for the Justice League. Gal Gadot Wonder Woman looking like Athena, Erza Miller Flash maybe being Hermes, Henry Cavill Superman being Hercules and of course Jason Momoa Aquaman looking like Posidin. But ultimately in execution it just didn't work out for them.

I’m really surprised to see people like Chris feeling mixed on Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. I personally think the animation looks good and to get a Spider-Man series that really leans into that classic Steve Ditko style makes me very happy. It’s like how I felt seeing the first trailer for Batman: Caped Crusader and how exited I was to see a new animated series completely separated from anything else and leaning into the classic noir roots of the early comics. I cannot wait to see some of the classic Spider-Man villains with their original comic book looks, especially Doc Ock.

I think Marvel is seeing the potential and now trying to push Daredevil hard. Since despite being just as much of a old school character like Ant man or Falcon, he's only recently been showing in Disney stuff and now they are just using him as much as they can.
