0:31 "My Nosferatu hands are out in full force this evening." Nosferatu is the title of the first known surviving vampire movie. And to continue his vampire talk, Bettel does that accent a bit after. Also, one way I remember Nosferatu is via Fire Emblem, which has a life-draining magic weapon/spell named after it. Also, as much as Leader can seem silly with how he talks to strangers, it reminds me of how I and my introverted ass look up to extroverted folks like Axel Syrios. That, and I'm thinking that Leader, who also considers himself an introvert, sells himself a bit short about his social skills. I mean, even the best of the best face challenges, you know? What matters is that we keep on learning and doing our best, whatever that's supposed to be for each and every one of us, and I think that Altare Regis is doing just that. And now, going back to silly mode, I'd like to say that Altare approaches strangers like he's a player character trying to get info from NPC's in an RPG.

If Elden Ring ever teach us anything about NPC dialogues, sometimes you can't repeat the same lines and more often than not they are gone even if you just hit checkpoint not far from their position, so yeah, gotta makes every interaction counts.

its so interesting to see how this is treated like bizarre behaviour. in my part of canada its pretty common. I've held conversations with bus drivers, other walkers waiting for the same light and even other shoppers at self check outs. Hell I've even had random people talk to me for brief periods of time.
