My setup is passive. It’s nice to not have to worry about charging or replacing batteries. I’m glad I lucked into this because I sure as heck didn’t know what I was doing when I bought that first 3D tv.

Thanks for the review - I bought them recently after watching your video b/c I am looking for glasses that are comfortable and work over my regular glasses - these DLP glasses are very very comfortable, and easily fit in front of my glasses - the lenses are big and give a great view of the screen. They are brighter than my original Optoma RF glasses. For some reason though, they don't provide as deep a 3D image compared to my Optoma glasses , not alot less but it is noticeable. I also had purchased Boblov DLP link glasses, they are really bad for comfort and the lenses are too small and they definitely don't work well in front of my glasses - but, they have amazing contrast, clarity and really deep 3D -- so, I now need to find glasses with the comfort of the 3DHeaven and the contrast and 3D depth of the Boblov.

Are these dlp link glasses same as those active 3d glasses meant for 3d tv?

I believe they will yes. But check your TV specs.

does these glasses work for SBS mode videos to watch on tablet/mobile phones?

No they do not work for SideBySide videos on tablets or phones. You would need a VR headset for that. They are inexpensive. Thanks for watching.

3 years late 😂 lcd projectors normally use IR glasses where as dlp projector uses dlp link If you have put off the purchase for 3 years now you know 😂

Great video.My Sony 3D TV uses Battery powerd shuttèr glasses. I need new glasses do these work for Sony 3D TVs.

I can not say for sure Sir. You better do some research. Shutter glasses receive signal differently. Some via digital light right off the screen and other by a radio frequency. Check your TV manual for the type of output if its radio frequency then you would need RF shutter glasses. These are DLP or digital light shutter glasses.....Thanks for watching!

@@amyreaves9635 Well I always take good care of my glasses and take them out of the soft case and return them when I'm done. They are glass but I don't think they would scratch to easily.

Will the glasses work with Samsung 3D TV ?

Its depends on which model Samsung 3DTV you have. Get the model number off the back and pull up the TV's manual online. Then just google the type you need. I just searched Samsung glasses and the are reasonably priced. But you have to make sure whether you need "RF" or "DLP link" and that's going to depend on your TV model number. You will still need a 3d blue ray player and a 3d movie along with your glasses once you figure out which ones you need.
