A level of work to strive towards! can I ask, did you do you liquid and fire simulations in blender or jump to unreal for that?
@owenjenkinsofficial7 ай бұрын
Most liquid stuff was done in Blender or Houdini. The explosions were composited in after effects or fusion and then color graded to adjust exposure. I do admit in Unreal Engine though and am looking to do more in it this year as well.

excellent work man. Just wondering how do you guys come up with this type of shots that makes you think that this would look good is it experimenting or how you guys always have something in your mind to create very clearly. For me, when i decided to make something good but tbh i am not sure clearly what should i make and when i decide what i should , I look up at pintrest or any other website and start to make stuff but after some time i am not happy with the progress or the render was not looking like I imagined and my mind starts going blank with no further ideas and resulting in decrease in confidence.
@owenjenkinsofficial5 ай бұрын
It’s usually a mix. Some things I have a clear vision for and some things take some significant preproduction and art direction to define the look.

@aftaabattar6180 path tracer always gives a better look, although I’ve found some hacks I might make a video about to highlight how to make MetaHumans look extra good in Lumen

That's impressive! How did you learn so much? I'd love to learn Motion Design and Graphics but specifically 3D product animation in detail. Can you teach me one-on-one, or do you have a course available? If not, could you recommend a good course for me?
@owenjenkinsofficial5 ай бұрын
I’m not doing one on one online tutoring. I learned with just loads of practice, a good mentor who has years and years of experience at the beginning who lived close to me and was able to give solid feedback, and mostly attempting to apply tutorial lessons to new situations and scenes, challenging myself to try harder, combining workflows even. I’m definitely still feeling like you! I have so much more to learn!

@@owenjenkinsofficial im using laptop, and i also want to do things like this. Mind if you’d share some tips? Currently i got i5 10th gen, 4gb 3050rtx, 8gb ram. Is the 4gb vid card enough? And if i upgraded the ram to 32 would it not bottleneck the 4gb vid card? Thanks
@owenjenkinsofficial5 ай бұрын
@Racio00 Industry minimum standard is 16gb ram and an 8GB vram card. You can get by for sure with lower than that. I have a laptop that works good and is 6GB vram and 32GB ram. I do recommend going higher. I do have a workstation too. But in the beginning it’s just about making stuff even if it takes a long time. Once you start earning some money, that’s an opportune time to upgrade!

@Racio00 not really i would assume blender would crash before it would become at risk of causing electronic damage
