Another great tutorial. Can you do more on modeling for 3d printing such as tolerances and print in place designs.

Great video! Is there a reason to fillet the body rather than the original sketch in the first step?
@ProductDesignOnline

Good question. It's considered a best practice to always apply modeling (solid) fillets instead of sketch fillets, with the exception of when you have no choice for a curved path per a sweep/loft (as seen on Day #4). That said, with a design as simple as this, you shouldn't run into any issues aside from your original sketch being harder to update the size (constraints will get messed up with the fillets). With larger design files/ assemblies, fillets in the sketches can cause latency and other issues. I always try to teach the best practices so people form good habits 💪🏼💪🏼

@@ProductDesignOnline Thanks for the reply and details about when to use sketch fillets. I'll watch the day 4 video again.

I noticed that my axis labels are different than yours for some reason. Any idea why is that? Edit: I think it's because the default front face is different. If I set my front face to be the top face I get what you have. I don't know if there is a way to change this default.

I always record with the default preferences. You can 'restore defaults' to make sure they're the same: productdesignonline.com/default-settings-for-fusion-360-tutorials/#restore On that page, I also show how to manually change the modeling orientation. Cheers!

Where does the "Draft" operation show up in the timeline? I didn't see it and had to undo until I was back in the command. How could/would you change the draft further into a project? Thanks!
