m100 at 50rps definitely getting premature engagement which will eat any piston you try

ive noticed a few innacuracies in your statements. but the most noteable one being you saying to go for bigger layer heights for higher strength, this has been proven untrue a few years ago by CNC kitchen, the strongest layer height is actually 0.15mm.also,PLA is the second strongest FDM 3d printing material, second to polycarbonate, also,ABS is NOT a good idea for anything structural,PETG will not work as good as PLA,your best bet would by either nylon,PLA+ or PC

anyone know where there are some files for the entire mechanism?

Hey mate just letting you know you should not be using active braking on a brushless motor as it has it built in and you can burn out the board on them by having active breaking on it even says on the warhead website nit to use active breaking also if you epoxy your rack in the piston you won't have the pistons breaking I have a brushless dsg running at about 75-80rps on a m170 with a shs piston with no issues since I have epoxied in the rack

Hey buddy yup I spotted that in documentation afterwards around active braking but much appreciated for the comment. Yes epoxy the rack in subsequent shs piston after bit more digging and see how it holds up. Cheers!

@@chazj1976 yeah they are ok pistons but like basically every piston doesn't last over 65rps

I have my active breaking on level 1 "perun" and been shooting it for over a year but i did notice when it was off completely it made my gun sound kinda bad in single fire 😬 no idea as of why yet

Maybe the teeth aren’t engaging fully with the rack?
