I went from a WUXN WXR to two Bambu A1s and couldn’t be happier. The ease of use and technology Bambu has in it’s printers is a no brainer.

I have the creality K1 and have loved it coming from an ender. After watching your videos on laser engravers I ended up getting a WeCreat 20w last November and have used my printer to make jigs and fixtures for a couple different lasers that I sell parts and files for. I have really enjoyed designing custom jigs for people. If you ever need any help with 3d design I would love to help you, just let me know and I can get you my contact information. Good video clack! I enjoy seeing other enjoy the same interest as I do!

You'll want to keep it in the house. Biggest reason is humidity. PLA isn't as bad as other filaments but they can all absorb moisture. Even with it in the house, you might look into ways to store filament and dry it out when you need to.

I bought an A1 Mini after hearing Steve talk about it on one of your Sunday Lives. After 3 days, i bought a 2nd with the AMS. I'm still amazed how easy it is the print a file and the variety of files freely available to download and print. My most useful prints so far have been the camlock shop vac adapter's i found on Printables. Those along with the 3d printed manifold have easily paid for one printer if i had to buy the parts. i'm still struggling on how to design my own parts in Fusion 360, but having fun learning. Thanks for the videos.

I have trying to justify needing a 3-d printer and have been looking at the Bambu Lab product line. One question that came to mind was, are there odors associated with the melted materials? I have an Xtool S1 40w machine that I have been learning to use and as you well know, some materials do have odors associated with them. As always, I really enjoy the content you provide and appreciate your efforts. Keep 'em coming.

The PLA that I have used is not generating any odors that I can detect. I run it in the living room..

Also, looking at that part and how it printed, you probably needed to turn on supports for that inside overhang. I couldn't tell if you did or not but looking at the close up of while it was printing I didn't see any supports being printed in the inside of that oval.
@TheClackShack4 ай бұрын
There is no overhang. It is a rectangle with a slot in it.

Well, my 3D journey just started with the Bambu Labs A1 mini without the AMS. Awesome price for an awesome machine. Now its a couple weeks later and want the larger bed size and the AMS so just received my A1 with the AMS. Hindsight should have gone with that one in the first place. But can use the mini for small prints and A1 for more complex prints. As you know the multi colors adds a ton of time to the prints to go back and forth changing colors. But the A1 does it very efficiently. Like you said don't see myself doing a ton of multi color prints, but having 4 spools loaded and ready to go is ready nice! Last while I am not a 3D printer expert, I have found the Bambu Lab Studio software to be easy to use and awesome. Cant say enough good things about the machines AND the software. Thanks for the BL video. Keep them coming as I have lots to learn and hope you continue to do videos about your A1 journeys.

Well done! I have had an A1 with the AMS since they came out. Bambu discovered a flaw in the machine and notified all customers. The manner in which Bambu handled the issue really impressed me. So much so I went ahead and purchased the X1 Carbon with two AMS units. I have been very happy with both the A1 and the X1 Carbon. If you haven’t already done it you might try a multicolor print of your logo with the orange background and black logo, like your shirt.

I haven't played with much multicolor yet. I really do think an X1 would be really nice.... lol

Good summary video giving the rationale for getting a 3D printer. I've had 3D printers for over 10 years now -- the ability to make things that you can use, either by finding something online or by designing something because nothing is available for your needs is a huge benefit to anyone with any kind of workshop. The Bambu printers are an order of magnitude improvement in usability. To quote an old Apple commercial, "they just work". I spent a great deal of time with my first two printers when I got them, or when I added a new filament type, dialing in the extruder temperature, bed temperature, and various speeds to get acceptable print results. The presets for Bambu are going to give excellent results with no tweaking required. I will say that I did run into an issue with my X1 Carbon this past weekend. Somehow, the flush volume multiplier got set to zero -- that created significant issues when printing with some PLA support. Thanks to some hints in the Sunday Clack/Ventauri Livestream, I was able to track down the problem and resolve it. Not sure how the setting got corrupted, I did see a posting on the Bambu forum where this happened to someone else as well. The setting is not in a place that I ever selected. Chalking it up right now to a glitch in the Matrix.

I started the other way, got an Ender 3 V2 and after a while ended up with a second Ender that I converted to a laser etcher/cutter. The Ender admittedly does have a little of a curve because it's supposed to be a "tinkerer's" printer that you can mod like crazy.
@TheClackShack4 ай бұрын
Yea, while I enjoy the modification, I am not missing it…. Lol
@RoseKindred4 ай бұрын
Yep, it is a great printer and system. It is like the Apple line of printers. For most, it is just about the printing, not the hobby of printers. I've got one to print for tabletop gaming and stencils. The multi-color printing is perhaps the easiest I have used in all my printers. I would be interested to see what happens if they enter the resin game. There are downsides, of course, such as the privacy issues so don't use it if you have NDAs or such. But, really, you can't go wrong. And LAN mode, before I get the comments, will NOT protect you 100%.

I had two ender 3 pros and the printer was the hobby which is not what I wanted. Printing is what I want to do, not adjust, level, fiddle with, etc. Facebook Market place exit Enders Enter A1 and x1c and not a single failed print. Simple stupid to use. Very low maintenance, no adjustments, leveling, fiddling, just successful printing
