DANG IT! I have a sticky note in front of me to not forget to explain that 🤦‍♂️ The tip was the origin, the fat side lined up with the bench edge was x-axis where I touched the bit, and then I pulled the y axis off the edge straight up from the tip (0,0) and stuck a scrap to the benchtop for y-axis.

Not the 69th, but my 'tip' joke would sound something like, "Slicing off the unnecessary material at the tip leaves it cleaner in the long run."
