Awesome content once again. Wish I saw this at 18 years old however I do believe the best way to learn is the hard way. For a lot of teen competitors I find just not worrying as much is the best route (within reason). But theres a line between recovering and binging for sure. So many will benefit from this!

Great podcast! This really helps me get my mindset straight for after my shows.. I'm definitely going to shoot for a somewhat rapid increase in weight of 5-10% over 4-6 weeks with a focus on getting less food focused, psychologically more relaxed, and increased attention on gym performance and not so much physique.

I just have one question just to be extra sure. So if I compete at 170 lbs and my tree (maintenance calories) given that I workout 6 times a week is 3000 cal, then I would need to consume 3400-3600 cals for the first 3 weeks post-competition to do the recovery diet. After that, what cals should I return to? Slightly lesser to gain at a lower rate?

Is this similar to the Minnie Maud style of recovery for ED patients (except for the caloric guidelines)?
