Super helpful and concise video! :) I have a quick question though. When setting Physical Sky to a low Elevation angle it automatically adds a orange-red color to be like sunset. How can I keep the low angle but with a regular white color?

GPU and Ram are the big ones, esp since Arnold was built with Nvidia cards. Render Setup > System > Manual Device Selection > Choose your Nvidia card. (The first time you render with GPU it will take longer than usual because it has to alter some settings etc, but let it do it thing because after the first time it will be much faster) Also make sure you have an absolute minimum of 32 GB of ram with at least 3000 Mhz. Every AAA Game Dev artist I've spoke to in the recent years has always said all their work comps have a minimum of 64 GB ram and some have over 90 GB

Arnold has been based on cpu for the last 20 years they have added gpu rendering about 3 years ago. Gpu rendering should really only be used for small scenes and look dev. Large scenes will require lots of vram...that is why big vfx houses will use cpu render for a long time..among other things

@@Dreamtheory618 I may be wrong but if you use GPU on arnold, not only lots of effects are just non compatible for GPUs, but the Ram at all is not going to be used if you use a GPU, in that case as long as I know that isdependant on VRAM and not on the standard Ram, I myself have 24GB of Ram and you never have memory problems using CPU, but using GPU you will.
