Yeah, Cosmo was already going to reveal himself (19:51) to everyone. Without Timmy's time traveling Cosmo would've already poofed up to show that he's a fairy after attempting to tell everyone. Jorgen should've wiped everyone's memory only about Fairies and given Crocker a second chance. Since it's all Cosmo's fault, not Crockers fault.

The origin of Mr. Crocker was really insane. I mean, having fairy godparents when he was a kid, and when he grows up he ends up hunting them down? That’s pretty unbelievable. That’s like if a kid loved dogs and then grew up to euthanize them.

Here's the thing I've always wondered about Crocker's origin: Did Timmy really need to be there for Cosmo to reveal himself as a fairy to that crowd? Think about it, it's Cosmo. Sooner or later, something like this probably would've happened without Timmy's involvement. Heck, we've technically seen him do it before! Remember his opening act for the Chip Skylark concert?

something that always bothered me after this episode was how Cosmo and Wanda would end up getting assigned to a Dimmsdale child that often we know about Timmy Turner, Bill Gates, Vicky (temporarily), and now Denzel Crocker, all within 3 decades (and that is up until this episode, at least) the world is large, the kids in it are many, just like the available fairies, and sticking to the same place boosts the risk of getting exposed. we know Crocker has been trying to prove their existence his entire life, who knows how many other people before him did so too? humanity even has a whole era in its history dedicated to hunting down anything magical/supernatural related, which could be explained in this universe with a powerful person hunting fairies in a smarter way than Crocker does it would be ok if the same place assignments had larger time gaps between them, but... it's weird they would choose the fairies for the kids that lightly
