Fun fact: Just One Bite has a scene that was cut shortly after it originally aired on October 5, 2001. Oddly enough, when it originally aired The Bully was part 1, and Just One Bite was part 2. But once the deleted scene was cut, the episode order flipped. Now Just One Bite is part 1, and The Bully is part 2. And maybe the deleted scene could be a bonus.

I think i know exactly why Flats wants to kick SpongeBobs butt. Remember that episode Sandy's rocket. In the episode we see a brief moment of flats looking at himself in the mirror than SpongeBob comes from the mirror and shoots him with that alien gun machine i think this episode of him kicking his butt is revenge for that sisuation that happened in Sandy's rocket thats my guess though could be wrong

Fun fact: the just one bite episode has a deleted scene that you could find on KZbin. It basically is Squidward sneaking into the krusty krab getting a bucket of gasoline dumped on him, and then the match thrown at him he explodes this was right before he sneaks in to the patty vault. It was basically removed due to a mixture of worrying that kids will imitate this and because this episode aired shortly after 9/11

You were right about Flats appearance in season 1. Flats was a background character in two episodes of season 1. He was at the Texas party for Sandy at the Krusty krab and he was one of the citizens show captured by SpongeBob and Patrick believing everyone were aliens from the moon. Because I would watch episodes as they appeared on tv and not in order I assumed that those earlier appearance came after and it was referencing this episode but through watching reactions I see that it was the other way around and that he was a background character promoted to the focus character of this episode. For originally being a background character his design is unique compared to the other fish as you were able to recall seeing him before.

I thourohly enjoy the latter episode because this is the most mature SpongeBob has been throughout the entire series so far. He said, "Patrick, help me. I'm so scared, I'm going to grow up". Which, that quote from SpongeBob in this episode like is wholely accurate because this is the first time in the series so far that SpongeBob has actually taken a threat seriously in any capacity. Any time before this, SpongeBob has been sort of aloof to any sort of threat in the series, and if he wasn't aloof, he still wouldn't seem to bothered or effected by any problems that occurred. So in this episode, SpongeBob is really being the most mature he's ever been in the entire series. First moment that he actually comprehend the full level of a threat and could actually feel long lasting fear.

Im so deeply sad for you guys you didn’t see the original unedited episode of “Just One Bite” Nickelodeon edited out the best part of the episode its not on air streaming or currently sold DVD within the United States. Its only available on DVDs outside the US like the Canadian and Korean and some vids around the Internet maybe. I so vividly and fondly remember Squidward getting roasted alive when breaking in by the security system twice. Ahh such fond sweet memories of times when censorship wasn’t the rampant boring beast and you could at least get every uncensored and deleted scenes on DVD.
