Rick is concerned that Carl might be too trusting with Gabriel I can totally understand that and he was wise to point out that he shouldn’t Carl gets that but also feels the need to ensure his Dad will hold on to his humanity I like that both of these two are checking on each other It’s good to see Carl mature into a Young man who cares about others He has come so far since the beginning.

In the after credits scene from 5x01 Morgan looks at the sign that Rick changed to No Sanctuary Then he sees a trail mark leading off into the woods Rick’s group did not leave a trail mark when they headed into the woods at that spot Now we know who did.

I've watched this show so many times but this is the first time I noticed how intensely Carol examined the cross and the surrounding memorabilia. I don't know if the writers feed from these moments or always had them in mind! Jesus (sic), this show just keeps throwing up surprises! Great reaction, again, guys. When you edit this you must see for yourselves how much is packed in to a single ep. Who makes the decisions on what goes out into the KZbin edit? I'm guessing whoever does it, they don't find it easy!

Remember what Carl said back on the Season 3 finale I didn’t kill the Walker that killed Dale you didn’t kill Andrew and he came back and killed mom and T Dog You were in a room with the Governor and you let him go and he came back and killed Merle I did what I had to do The group didn’t kill the Terminus people and now they took and are eating Bob.

So now that you guys have finally reached this point some things can be revealed. The cannibals are canon in The Walking Dead comics however Terminus didn't exist and it was just a small group of cannibals that show up in the woods here. Bob was not supposed to be the one getting eaten, originally it was Dale getting eaten by the cannibals instead. Andrea and the rest of the group was with Dale when he died shortly after. So Dale was supposed to make it a lot further into the story but his character also starts having a sexual relationship with Andrea in the comics so they killed him off a little early in the tv series.

I really love how Gabriel was made for the TV series, his character was deep and goes through a lot. I really love how he was changed from the comics. He is easily one of the best done for the show. Heck his story is really good. Also fun fact: in the comics, this exact same thing happen where the Hunters, the Terminus people, take one of Rick's group and eat his leg. But interesting enough, this happened to Dale in the comics. Makes me wonder if it would have happened if he stayed on the show.

Comic Comparisons : This arc with the cannibals mirrors Volume 11 of the comics dubbed Fear The Hunters They do meet Father Gabriel just like they do in the comics In the show the leader of the cannibals is named Gareth but in the comics it’s Chris Bob doesn’t exist in the comics so instead it’s Dale who is still alive at this point in the comics.
