Dude this was a trip for me personally because I played heavily from early 2014 to late 2016 and stopped, before coming back during covid and playing thousands more hours still to this day. I had no idea what order all the stuff in between was added and it was kinda mind-blowing!

I'm genuinely sad, but not surprised that my favourite game looses new players to games with working anti-cheat...New players cannot even try the game without a ton of spinbots and, even worse, wallers that turn up the aimbot if it gets hard CSGO is now devided into experienced players on faceit and cheaters on mm..... It's a defeating feeling that I'd rather recommend Valorant to anyone who wants to try FPS.

When I knew CSGO was coming out in 2012 I got pretty excited. Didn't get to play it until the following year. 2013-2014 was literally me playing the console version and trying out a cracked version of the game if my PC was able to run it. Then in May 2015, when the Operation Bloodhound was released, I bought CSGO at full price and being playing the game ever since. I didn't have enough to time to buy the pass, however. Later, I got to buy the passes for Operation Wildfire and Operation Hydra. Great operations for sure and they were better than the 2 latest operations which I wasn't a fan of and refused to buy those passes. With that out of the way, CSGO has evolved and improved over the years and I'm glad that I'm part of it for the past 6 years and counting. I feel old as well. 😞

Why you need to make everyone feel old Philip? :'( 2012 CSGO was bonkers. Gosh, such a raw era for the game. Now, you need to cover the beta stages of the game in its full. Covering changes between 2011 and early 2012. Galil scope, SCAR assault rifle, custom knives for Ts and CTs, cut factions and so on. 🔫

The AWP movement patch was the hardest one for me, as it ruined my awping. I play aggressive entry fragger style and the new AWP just doesn't fit at all. Though they've made a lot of progress, it still feels they've only made minor good changes & the major changes have been only bad.
