No!!! Don't use any Lithium Iron (LiFe) battery in the cold WITHOUT first warming it! You warm/prime the battery by turning on the lights for a few minutes, turn them off, then start the motor. It'll crank stronger and 10x faster than what you show here. Google Shorai's cold weather (

Greetings, I am planning to do the, "Anthony Mod" to my 86 and was wondering if it could be done without removing the rear bumper?

Jason Hoang I'm not sure if you mean the bumper beam or the bumper cover. You don't have to remove the beam, and if it's your daily driver, I would not advise you remove it because it will be unsafe. As for the cover, I'm not sure. It will certainly be easier if you remove it though.

I only meant the bumper cover, to delete the reverse light on the bottom. Did you remove the beam on yours?

Yes, I did. For weight savings, but also it helps with aesthetics.

I'm glad I didn't pull the trigger on this mod yet. I was kinda wondering why yours looked different, compared to the others I've seen on the net. Thanks for the info! I'll wait till I can have something fabricated to cover up the Perrin in the back. Only looks sexy with single exit, my muffler needs a cover.

are you using an external mic on the exhaust recording camera?

No, the external audio was recorded by the built in mic on my Nikon D7000. I put the camera pretty far away and zoomed in so that the audio wouldn't be too distorted. You can see the tripod in the video at the beginning.
