I love the content and interactions of the Crew. Always good for a few laughs. The thing that sticks in my mind is in a defensive encounter you may not get a two-hand hold with a perfect presentation and pretty sight picture. I think we need more training on strong and weak hand manipulations. Getting off the X and instinctive gun handling. I understand that instructions are geared for the least common denominator and advanced classes build on the basics. Most stuff is for newer shooters but there is always something to learn. Of all my pistols, I think my Walther PPQ Q4 Steel Frame is my favorite. The quality is apparent as soon as you pick it up, great trigger, great controls and ergonomics.

@whilomforge3402 I use appendix carry from Tier 1 Concealed, Axis Elite Holster. Great Holster and I have no printing issues. Also, it's one reason I bought the 4.5" barrel instead of the 5" barrel. It works well for me.

You should review the Canik TP9 Elite Combat, then the Canik Rival Dark side. Those 2 striker fired pistols have som e damn good triggers. Nice crisp break and a super short reset.

I bought a Walther PPQ a few years ago because the factory trigger was amazing right out of the box. it is my go to gun should I need one. It is very accurate, very reliable, and I shoot it very well. Give Walther a look if you're in the market for a striker fire.

I put a ZR Tactical 15 lb guide rod and spring kit in my PDP compact polymer frame. It tamed the snappy recoil impulse from the factory 17/18 pound rod and spring. I swapped the factory curved trigger for a Overwatch Precsion flat trigger as well and love the set up now. The Walther flat tigger was forever out of stock so I gave up and went another route.

Every Canik is great. I have 2 (Elite SC with Shield RMS-X and TP9SFX with Vortex Viper) and they have the best striker fired triggers out of any other pistol I own, and are hands down the most accurate also. I love Caniks

Many firearms manufacturers have imitated Walther designs over the years. I have been shooting and collecting Walther's for many years. They're definitely one of my favorites.

I have the PPQ Q5 match polymer and have no trouble with my offhand thumb. The only trouble is the high bore causing muzzle flip on the lightweight polymer. If you limp wrist it, there can be cycling issues. I absolutely love the trigger though.

CZ guy here. I own 3 CZ's and the PDP Pro. That Walther is a f*cking tack driver. The trigger is unbelievable. It kicks but it returns to zero phenomenally.

The problem withe the take down lever on the Walther, will not happen with the Sig P-226 , X FIVE Reserve it has a large gas / race pedal at your hold point and that pistol will run , plus a 3 way adjustable trigger that can be set to each shooter and it has a beefy stainless steel frame as well , but the integrated compensator on the barrel makes it a very flat shooter , definitely worth reviewing if you can locate one , because we all know your not broke !

You need to install the ZR Tactical Solutions long stroke guide rod and aluminum base pads for the mags. Both things make a world of difference. Specially the long stroke guide rod. Thank you for your service and for the video.

I have owned Walthers my whole adult life. The PPK/S is an absolute tack driver for a compact weapon and the PK series are solid, comfortable and very accurate as well. Great weapons with a great history.

I don't have the steel frame PDP but I have the 4" and 5" polymers, PDP is the first pistol I've had in a really long time that noticeably made me feel closer to a minimally competent shooter out of the box. I'm not really great at anything in life but I do like the PDPs quite a bit and I shoot those better than my way more expensive pistols. I got my first Glock 17 in college when Nirvana was pretty fresh and I still think the Glock 17 is a way better gun than I am a marksman. I remember shooting the Glock for the first time and I shot it way better than what I had before that, PDP was a bit like that when I took it out the first time.

I fell in love with that gun when it came out but after a few hundred rounds, I noticed a lot of slop that my Glocks and m&p's don't have with far more rounds through them. It is a great looking gun and a fantastic trigger but for my liking I want something well rounded and all areas.
