thank you sir. very concise! just watched another tutorial where the guy removed all the lines, tie rod ends, and pulled the rack out. had me a little worried about doing this myself.

Thanks! Not sure what it's called, but any small puller should work. You can technically do this without a puller too

That first drivers side bolt you took out, mine is dripping fluid... is that an indication of a bad rack or can I go ahead with just the bushings

This might be a lot to ask but can you give me a list of what you upgraded in total as far as steering and suspension?

Steering rack bushings, front upper control arms (spc adjustable), front coilovers (elka 2.0), cam eliminator kit from 333 fabrications, longer front sway bar end links from a 2nd gen 4runner And the rear is just the shocks and coils I believe that's its

In the bushing that goes to the driver's side, you need to put the washer that goes in the back, look at it and you'll see

I know what you mean but this kit doesn't actually come with the washer

What was the steering doing that you knew they needed replaced?

There was a bit of a vibration in the steering but I had been under the truck doing something else and noticed the bushings weren't great

@@aramschannel I just replaced bushings, man the steering has 0 play.
