hell yeah brother - I have a 21 trd OR and love it for the reasons you've said. Theres alot to be said for the simple 4 banger engine, as you say it aint fast but it will get you there in the snow.

I bought a 2022 Sr 2.7 liter with 5k miles in june 2024. I don’t need anything else. I have done a couple of mods to make life easier. But loving the truck. So far.. tyger soft roll tonneau cover with an after market bed mat. Inside rough country neoprene seat covers. Husky floor mats. And outside trd off road wheels with 265 tires. And window tint.

I got the 2023 last year in the 2 door (now) big V6. Love the way it looks. Sportier looking to me. No one wants to sit in back of a taco anyway. Take someone else's car if its that many ppl 😂 perfect truck for someone who dsnt haul or pull stuff regularly like me. U def right about the snow too.

I have a 1993 Toyota Pickup with a 5 speed manual transmission with 307k miles with manual windows, manual locks. God I wish we could have those simple pick up trucks again. I love my 3rd gen Tacoma too. Plus the aftermarket support for the 3rd gen is amazing. I just love how I can customize it to my absolute liking.

@@westcoastplinkin6559 1000% with you on this. My first Toyota truck was a 1991 reg cab 4cyl 5sp with manual hubs. Over 30 mpg.

For anyone who wants a brand new truck for whatever reason be it finance rates, warranty, or just peace of mind... There's still one more option and that's the new generation of Nissan Frontier. Old bones that are proven and perfected, a dash of new creature comforts, and a look that most of the competition wishes it had. I'm not in the market for an affordable workhorse pickup yet but I urge anyone who is to put some money into the frontier name so we can hopefully keep it around. It's about the only new nissan apart from a GTR that I'd actually buy 😅

@@zenkoz3158 the Frontier has gotten nice, I looked at them briefly but back in 2022 everybody had dealer markups and I wasn’t going to pay $10-15k over sticker price. But yah prices seem to have gotten a little more fair now so options are still on the table.
