Just bought a '99 with a snorkle. Loe and behold, the snorkle wasn't actually hooked up to anything, it's just bolted on the truck. I have the hardware, I just need to drill a hole and connect it to the intake

just check time to time on on that rubber boot mine is dry rotted and i cant find a replacement for it. i had my snorkel for couple of years.

Thanks for the video, I’m looking at doing this same setup for my 02 sr5 also. For the mushroom head filter do you need 3 inch or 3.5 inch to fit on top of the snorkel?

Thanks for the video! I’m about to tackle this same project. I’ve heard that the stock 4Runner intake tube isn’t long enough to meet the rubber hose included in the kit. Some guys on the forums have switched over to Tacoma intake tubes. Did you have any problems with this? What year is your 3rd gen? Thanks a ton!

It’s a 96 limited and every thing fit just fine. Only thing I would do differently is drill the small holes first then the large center hole last. Thanks for watching and good luck sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner

I pulled the air box so I could reach my hand through it to fit everything up. It makes it a lot easier and it only takes 3 minutes
