3t22s don't do a perfect pulse, when the solenoid are shut, it hums. Ok, it doesn't get heard when it's doing HILO, because one of the rotors are a higher pitched than the other one

Correct, only from incredibly far away does it sound like a true pulse. Most of the time when running this signal, when the dampers shut the siren just gets quieter and higher-pitched.
