Okay... I give this one a try. I've had issues trying Wakaru and less issues with VSeeFace. Not to mention VMagicMirror due to my scroll wheel's button being defective (I used a different mouse to fix my avatar's position). Since you're recommending this like you did with VMagicMirror, I'll give it a shot. But overall this is a good tutorial.

Hey! Great tutorial. I'd like to know more about placing a 3d object. Is it possible to make our avatar use a sword and fight with it for example? (I would hold a 'stick' with sensors on it irl and the sword would be virtual then... unless you have a better idea?). Thank you!

Use OBS to record with your VTuber or another program. Filmora is only for editing, OBS does NOT do editing. You will need to record using OBS and edit with Filmora!

I kinda have a question about the background? What's the difference between using an image or using a transparent background? Does it come out as higher quality or smthn? I'm just a little confused😅

So transparent allows your character exist on its own. This means if you are using a program like OBS or Streamlabns OBS you can have anything running in that be the background instead of a still image. While a image will be that image and not change unless you manually change it. Does that help answer your question?

If I'm having very jerky movement (like, lots of delay and jumps from position to position) it's most likely cause my webcam sucks right? I know my webcam sucks but I'd rather check if it isn't something to do with options cause I'd hate to buy a new webcam and realize it doesn't solve anything xD But after watching the video and not finding anything that could relate to that (and fiddling with the options too) I'm pretty sure it's just my webcam being trash xD

I would try Vseeface, vmagic mirror, and vup first to see if ur camera is the problem or not. It could be something with 3tene, but try those other programs first!

I am using a macbook air and it only gives me the option to screenshot. I don’t think you can save spots unfortunately. Maybe you can take a screenshot of where he is so you can move him as close as possible or use that screenshot as like a background to line him up if that makes sense

You can get hand trackers to track your hands with a think called leap motion. But thats only for hand tracking.

Try to start your camera before opening OBS/Streamlabs and see if that works.

does anyone have the issue with audio based lip sync where it says no recording device, I have a mic set up but it doesn't register for some reason

@@Syafire yeah it works fine with everything else, ive never had an issue with it until now, ive tried other mics as well and had the same issue, everything worked fine after i first downloaded the software

Also another question is how do you make the camera only record your upper body like yours does, because for me I can see the whole body

you just have to zoom in/ set the character up how you want it to be displayed. Does that make sense?

Try unplugging and plugging your camera back in and restarting the lip sync buttons

So my camera fps is hovering around 15 which is making my avatar look like its either nmot moving or it just twitches wildly. do you know of a fix for this?

@@Syafire I haven't started recording yet, this happens when I'm just using 3tene, my pc specs are pretty good I have a ryzen 7 2700, a gtx 1070 and 16 gb of ram but I will be using stream labs obs for recording and streaming

CelticVIking I’m not sure if there’s a way to change it in 3tene but I know I streamlabs you can change to 60 FPS which will make it nice and smooth, I will check today and get back to you

Has anyone gotten this to work on Linux? I have 3tene running on Steam through Proton and the software notices my webcam but my webcam won't actually work. Is the non functioning of the webcam because I'm missing something on Linux itself?
