She looks so happy, but please get her a helmet, head injuries are scary

Yes, we had the same thought. She now has a helmet, but getting her to wear it has been challenging. Do you have any tips?

@@denisekohlmann9234 Yeah, that can be difficult. From my own experience as a child, make sure that the helmet is comfortable. If it is too large, it won’t sit still and be distracting, and if the chin strap is too tight it might feel like it’s choaking her, and too small a helmet is going to hurt, so make sure that the helmet is the right size. If ahe’s wearing a beanie under the helmet, it could feel like it’s blocking her vision even if it physically doesn’t, to help with that you can puah the beanie less far down the forehead. I’m sure that there could be other things that she could find difficult, like the higher point of balance, that you can’t do anything about, but try to talk to her about why she doesn’t wanna wear it. She might not even realize that it shouldn’t hurt, for example, so you telling her how it is meant to feel us important. You could also explain that it will protect her when she falls. All in all, best of luck

It’s always been a challenge to get her to wear something on her head. I like your suggestion about telling her how it’s supposed to feel. That’s the only thing I haven’t tried yet that you’ve suggested, so hopefully it will be the ticket! 🤞🏽🤞🏽
