Well played to Maidstone , always great to seeing giant killing which i know all about living in Chesterfield for the last 35 years . Incidentally i think Wednesday took about 4500 fans when we beat you 2-0 back in 1990 . It was the first game of the season and i was one of the Wednesday fans that was on the pitch after the first went in , not down to hooliganism but we were being escorted to the seats due to the crush in the Wednesday end . We scored just as me and the girlfriend at the time were passing behind the goal !!

Anything can happen in a cup tie. As a Town fan I'm disappointed fans were taking the game for granted. Although McKenna chopped and changed the starting XI they were still Championship players. Maidstone made the most of the opportunities that came their way, hence they won.
