The gt40 engine and the koenseigegigigegive engine are so similar that they could be the same thing. Then they Co develop the 5.0 or they just did the same things ....I do know the early gen koensiges used a Ford 5.4 , quad cam, supercharger that made its way into the gt40 .

thats what i am saying Rob you and i are on the same theory... Ford Coyote is Koeningsegg inspired 100% Ford take there old tech and they create new tech... I bet Ford owns shares in the company but does not f with the mans business at ll the TECH is worth money. look what they have done in a very short time ... they had the tech way back but they didnt want to just spill it out 1 time... they have cars to sell

The original 4.6 4v dohc all aluminum engine was in the 93 mark Viii. It was built in ford's german engine plant. This engine facility builds and develops all sorts of engines for companies. Don't forget about Ford Cosworth engines and there race history. The v12 and v8 in the Aston Martin's say fomoco right on them.

yeah its a SOLID motor for everday use, not for performance.. Thank you so much for thais comment SRT... The 4.6 was design to make 7 different types of motors off of one design 2v 3v 4v 4.6 and 5.4 and a V10 ( then Coyote came ) after and they use the motor in Koenigsegg ( 1st gen ) and another rare car.. So they made there money off that motor

I still like the voodoo engine. I'm not sure I would like giving up that much control of the engine to a computer. I'm more of an analogue kinda guy. Like Windsor engines. Especially also the voodoo. Now have 2 going for a front wheel drive voodoo set up in the 96 Lincoln continental.

Why not make a all carbon fiber thick block with forged steel cylinder wall sleeves.and crank mains & connecting rods.Since intakes and plenums are plastic and hold up carbon fiber would hold up.✌❤&👟
@dd8594 жыл бұрын
Dodge Ramman carbon fibre only has strength in one direction... so it would not be ideal for an engine... let alone a high displacement, high power engine.

only for 1st gen Zeggs after that they designed a better Mosular motor... You can take that engone and bolt up a t45 trans ... Still same bolt pattern whichs is crazy... I feel The COYOTE used some of the tech from them ( a guess ) not facts
@tkostang10 ай бұрын
You raise some interesting questions and definitely peak my interest BUT if you want to be taken more seriously on content like this do more research so your entire video doesn’t sound one notch below speculative. It was very hard to determine which actual information you provided was fact over guessing, assuming or just throwing around some questions or ideas

I thank you so much for a kind way ( checking me ) Thank you for that... The block was Ford until ( it was cost effective ) at the time... The car block needed to be altered to suit going 100hp twin turbo... Piston spacing was the same , Head bolt pattern was the same, and the mounting points to transmission wise was the same.... The guessing parts come in about the Coyote engine. ( and tech sharing ).. Its all possible ... his is the stuff i just bounce around in my head ( not knowing the facts ) .. Companys steal tech all the time... You think Ecoboost is all Ford.. I sure Mazda shared a little info... Then ford Cut back on the valves ( to save money ) .. Its a thought... IMO if your'e doing a junkyard easy to find 4.6, just drop it in and take the chance. If your'e doing an harder to find junkyard 302, pull the heads and oil pan and inspect. A little slightly bent pushrod can through you off when trying to get timing perfection. Or just a quick diy old school valve lapping can go along way. No sense in detonating an hard to find old school engine. If it is all good, all you are out is one complete gasket set. If it needs lifters. A new cam and lifter set or simply set it aside for a down the road complete rebuild. Seventy percent of human thought are assumptions. Ninety percent of all assumptions are somewhat incorrect. Those of us who turn wrenches already know. LOL
