4.79 Average Using the ZB Method

For those who don't know what zb is , it's actually similar to cfop but once you're at the final f2l pair, before you insert it , you will need to recognise the algorithm from over 300++ to solve the final pair and the yellow cross , which you will have a higher possibility to solve with zbll , hope that helps you understand

no, while solving last slot you orient the edges to end up with yellow cross on top, it should always end in zbll

You insert the last F2L pair with ZBLS algs (zb last slot) and always end up with a cross solved case, which is a ZBLL, which of course colves the whole last layer

Tymon and Xaunyi are basically the same person now. They are the only cubers who both know full zbll in the top 5, them and Yiheng are the only cubers who have > 2 sub 5 averages, and now Tymon is starting to do ZB method. It will be super interesting to see them in worlds. It would be so hype if we got Tymon vs Xaunyi head to head!

305 ZBLS and 472 ZBLLs, plus any F2L and other CFOP algs, Tymon probably uses roughly 900 to 1000 algs now, which is insane

The only solve in which he used OLL and PLL ended up being his worst one in this average. Fun fact: The Gan 15 Maglev prototype was used for this average.

with this average and what you talked about in your podcast, do you consider switching to zz as the main problem with it was inspection (which I guess is less of a problem with the recent progress) It could be somthing you talk about in a future podcast...
