I have a really hard time pronouncing “February”
@speakmoreclearly1
@speakmoreclearly1 3 жыл бұрын
Hi, Yes it's a difficult word for many speakers including people whose first language is English! For the British 'standard' accent it is /ˈfeb.ru.ər.i/ -said: 'Febroouhree ' For the American /ˈfeb.ru.ər.i/ - said: 'Febroouhree' also. For Australian some say 'Febreree' , and some say the same as the British or American. Go with the most common one! It takes a bit of repetition to get it so your mouth gets used to the sequence of movements. Maybe have it as your word of the week and say it 10 times each day. Esther

Hi, there are many accents in English. By definition you can't speak any language without an accent. If you change your pronunciation in English you are also changing your accent. Any time you modify vowel sounds it will change the way you speak/sound and therefore, will change your accent. Esther is speaking with an Australian accent in the video but we also provide training for the British accent and American accent. Check out our website: www.speakmoreclearly.com/ for more information. Have a great day :)

Sister, I did not say anything wrong, because I have seen so many youtube videos, they all say the same thing, Do this, do that, you will know how to speak English, no one will tell the solution, because they themselves do not know how to understand, their KZbin channel will not be famous.

English is spoken in only 12 countries in the world, in the rest of the countries their official language is spoken by which we speak the national language. If you have to learn, then learn from the alphabet, and you yourself add subtitles so that people can understand better, I hate English language and his grammar, I left English because of grammar
